Thanks for answering but after re-reading what i wrote i kind of worded it wrong lol, i knew what a flush was i just didnt get the "mollases/sucunat" part of it.. is that a nutrient that you give it? If so any chance of showing me which one please?

I bet you were proud of them babies when you harvested them lol

What was your highest yield plant then do you know?

To be honest I havn't weighed a whole plant in quite a while. I think this plant pictured was my largest though.. pulled just under 4.. I really have a small closet grow space so I'm limited.. I like to keep my plants under 3-3.5ft.

Mollasses/sucunat are both carbohydrate sources.. Food for the soil micro herd, chelating additive, and a natural sweeter... It's basically the main ingredients in products like Sweet, sweet leaf, sugar daddy, carboload etc..

Mister Postman, I just read over your tea posts and I'm trying to think of a reason I haven't been doing organics. That's so simple, and your plants look absolutely amazing. I might have to start making some teas when I get my plants running again.

So far so good... I'm really pleased with how they are coming along.. Just to note that ppp bush pictured above was not grown 100% organic.. I grew that one with pure blend pro, liquid karma, sweet, and advanced nutrients Big bud/overdrive..

I recently picked up some mexican, jamacian bat guano, kelp meal, and some more earth worm castings. I'm going to start making two teas.. one for veg with the mexican bat, and one for flower with the jamaican. I'm gonna research some dosages, and start brewing, and feeding some really good shit shortly (pun intended LOL)

I got some new pics of the wonder diesels... Just got to get them loaded up... So far I have 4 females, and 2 males out of the 9 plants.. I just placed two more into the flower closet a few days ago, and I suspect they will be male. Maybe 1 more fem we'll see. I think the third one I have in veg is male as well though..... So I had a good start, got my 4 females, and the rest turned out to be males it seems so far.... Not such a bad turn out considering my tight space... At least the 4 will not be to crowded.... They're looking really solid so far (pics to come)

Update on the wonder diesels....

So far out of 9 plants I have 4 confirmed females, 2 males, and 3 still left to sex... I'm having a feeling these last three will be males. I at least am suspecting 2 of the 3 of being males. Not bad... 4 or 5 outta 9.. I'll take it, and with my smaller closet space I couldn't flower out many more anyway....

Here are my girls!!!
Female 1. This plant has been topped, and had a nice early flower stretch... Buds are just starting to form now:hello: I have high hopes for this girl:smoke:

Female number 2... This plant is beauty.. Look how she stretched, and branched out all over the place.. This plant I just slightly tied down the main stem causing lower growth to catch up with the top.

These are the 3 I still have left to sex.. The ones I'm thinking may be males (we'll see)
11783post_64_pic12.jpg

On another note I just picked up some mexican and jamaican bat guano, kelp meal, and some more worm castings... I'm going to be making a veg tea for my plants in veg, and a flower tea for those in flower by swapping the high n mexican guona in the veg tea, for the high p jamaican guano for flower..

Per gallon
2 tbl mexican (10-2-1)
2 tbl worm castings (1-0-0)
1tsp kelp meal (1-0-4)
2 tbl mollases/sucunat (1tbl each)
10ml liquid karma

For younger plants I will dilute 1:2, and for full grown I will feed full strength. I'm still not sure with my soil and set up if it will be needed every watering, or every other...

For flower it will be the same except i'll swap 2tbs of mex for
3 tbl high p jamacain bat (1-10-.2)

Sounds good. Hopefully it works out well for you wickedpete66. I just picked some guano myself, and am going to see how my ladies like it in tea form.. If you have some time read through the stickies in the organic soil section.. Lots of good info in those stickies on ingredients, and different things you can add to the teas... I'm really having fun though trying different things, and coming up with natural sources to keep my plants happy and well fed.. It's a nice rest from mixing 7 different bottles of additives LMAO..

Oh yeah almost forgot about my plant in the garbage can LOL.. Yesterday a shoot broke loose from it's lst tie, and went into the lights... Not much damage at all really.. Just a leaf or two in the top right corner of the pic.
gb-1.jpg

Other then that they are doing good. They got a lil mag def., so I hit them up with some epsom salt/pure blend pro foliar feeding.. I keep on retieing them down more and more as they grow to keep them from outgrowing the can.. I do have the option of taking the lid off and hanging the light, but I really wanted this to be a contained flouro grow inside the can. The buds are starting to form now, so hopefully the pre-flower stretch is over... Not m uch stretch at all really under the flourscents...

How much and when do you give them epsom salt? I've seen you mention it a few times, but never any numbers. How much per gallon? Your plants are honestly the healthiest looking plants I've seen so far, they look amazing. Good work.

Bounty Epsom salts provide magnesium. I was feeding this plant nothing more then worm casting/mollasses tea through veg, and a few moderate doses of pure blend pro veg towards the end.. Usually with the pure blend pure blend pro line of nutrients I'd be using their cal-mag plus for magnesium, but epsom salts provides the same mag. Right now i'm just using a foliar spray when the plants appear a lil deficient. I mix 1tsp per gallon of water, add a drop of dish soap and lightly mist the leaves. You could add a dilluted dose of fertilizer to the spray too, and this is kinda like a direct route in providing nutrients to the plant (dish soap works as a surfficant, so the water doesn't bead up).. This cures any defficienty in one or two applications.

You could also ammend the soil mix with dolomite lime to supply mag. The wonder diesels where all amended with dolomite, but this ppp in the garbage can I'm growing a little different then the others, just becasue I'm just messin around with it really LOL... I'll start giving it the organic teas when I make the next batch, and see how it does with it..

Mag. defficiency is pretty common though with the bottled ferts, and unammended potting mixes.. It's an easy fix too, the way I mentioned above is pretty efficient..

Thanks again. At least I know I'm going in the right direction so far LOL. It hasn't been 100% by any means as I've only begun to experiment with this feeding regimen, and it's a new strain with the wonder diesels as well, but so far it's been managable and coming along nicely. The plants are really solid growers

My 4 wonder diesel fems are coming along just fine. I gave them their first dose of tea yesterday, and so far so good.. Today as their pots dried out a bit they all perked up and looked extremely vigorous....

Female 1. This one was placed into flower the latest, so it's a lil behind the others in flower.. It's been going through one hell of a preflower stretch thats for sure

Was that grapefruit grown following your organic schedule from this thread, or was that started before you made the switch?

I started this one before the switch, so it was fed pure blend pro grow in veg... At about 2 weeks into flower I transplanted into the same organic miricle grow ammended mix the wonder diesels went into, and kept it organic the rest of the way with the fox farms piece of mind, and teas.

Looks like it's Dr. Hornby's Big Bud

The yieldmaker

Big Bud is an immensely powerful flowering and yield booster that promotes more vigorous flowering growth and increased yield. Specifically designed for oil producing plants such as rape seed or sunflowers where resin production is key to a quality yield, Big Bud provides a focused boost with sensational results. By using specific Phosphorous, Potassium, Magnesium and Amino Acid ratios, Big Bud is able to provide the “right kind” of boost to your plants, maximising plant efficiency and providing outstanding value for money.

For best results we highly recommend that you use Dr. Hornby's Big Bud in conjunction with Bud Blood and Overdrive (see related products - right). When combined, these three products can lead to some truly colossal yields and top quality produce.

Ohhh yeah iv seen that before, i was thinking of using it too... is it good? And can you only use it in soil?

That particular plant was grown organic through flower, so it was not used on that plant.

I have used it on other plants in the past with success. You can use it in both hydro, or soil... It's meant to be used along with your regular nutrient regimen as a flowering booster during the flower period..

Yeah, do you know if you can use it aswell as PK13/14? Or would you only really use one or the other?

Cheers

I personally would use one or the other. They both are flowering additives, and add the same p, k.. I never used pk13/14, but from those that have, and threads I've read it's was said to be a pretty potent additive.
