Yes, I'm going to flower them under flourescent.. I'm just going to switch out the 4- 26watt compact flourescents for larger 42watt 2700k come flower. I actually did that yesterday . That should bump up the lumens quite a bit for the flower cycle, and hopefully get me some nice buds.. I never flowered under only flourescent, so it's gonna be kinda interesting (for me anyway) to see how they grow, and how much I can yield in that small space.

These Wonder diesels show sex really fast once placed into 12/12. 2-4 days at the most. Out of the first 5 I placed into flower I received 3 females, and 2 males, and still have 3 plants I'm keeping in veg a lil longer still left to sex and flower.

Everything is cloned, and rooted, so I'm all set to flower these babies out Let the fun begin LOL. The two males I'll be flowering out seperately and harvesting some pollen to chuck at my purple PPP, and back at the nicest female sibling.. Purple Power Diesel anyone? Hehe we'll see how it goes...

Neuronaut, I grew that plant from seed (nirvana seeds PPP), and have kept her around for a good 8-9 months now by cloning.

Honestly I don't think the purple pheno of ppp is that common. I have found 1 other purple ppp pictured here on icmag using the search feature, LOL but cant find it again using the same search hehe I know the color pops up from time to time in the strain, but I don't think it's a regular occurance where every pack will yield a purple. The color seems to be the luck of the draw, and I guess even luckier of a draw to find a potent purp specimen.

I keep her around for the high though. I smoke numerous times daily, but when I smoke ppp it has the ability to cut through all the other strains, and has a much a higher ceiling. I need to smoke less of an amount of ppp to reach the goal... The high is sativa dom, but it has a good bit of body to it too after the head high sets in first. Nice and heady at first, and can get a little overwhelming-racey if over done, which I actually like. The flavor isn't exactly my cup of tea being much more spicy-herbal then sweet and fruity. Right off the bush the buds have a wicked spicy almost wild scallion/onion pungency to them. that fades a bit with a good cure, and makes it much easier on the taste buds

I have some plans for her though... Either gonna hit her with c99, or wonder diesel pollen this round.. I figure if there are any strains that seem to be dominant in the flavor department it'd be either c99 or diesel. I'm hoping to capture some of their flavor characteristics, but keep the color, and growth characteristics similar to the ppp. We'll see how that lil project goes.. Even if i get a few nice keepers to clone from I'll be a happy man..

On another note my grapefruit x northern lights has swollen up like Mike Tysons right eye after a Buster Douglas left hook.. Yes that swollen. Here see for yourself... remember the 20oz bottle... well this is a liter pure blend pro container.. She swelled that much on a straight mollases/sucunat flush

Ooh...I bet the gfxnl is gonna be a tasty bitch! You've got tons of action going on in there....wonder diesels are looking healthy. Looks like the gfxnl got the genes for fat buds from the nl side...hopefully you get the tangy grapefruit flavor to go with the weight.

Oh yeah S2D she has that tangy unmistakable grapefruit smell/flavor. It's not the first time I grew her out, so I've sampled the product more then a few times.

It has a citrusy/grapefruit flavor that tickles the nostrils LOL.. I find th flavor very similar to c99, a little less sweet, but the high is more balanced and not as racy as c99.. I like the plant a lot, but come late flower i always get a couple male flowers. Not enough to cause damge, I just pick them off, but it's still a pain in the ass to have to watch for them..

That PPP was a real lucky break for you I think. I'm hoping to get my grubby little paws on something with a purple, or other exotic color pheno eventually. Living with bagseed at the moment, since it's perfect for the budget.

Can't wait to see pics of the WDs up and flowering in full glory. I know you'll pull off beautiful grows with them as well, you seem to have the knack.

I just meant that she put on a lot of weight during the final flush period.. Depending on feeding regimens I use, I give the plants 1-2 week flush period at the end of their lives where I stop feeding any added nutrients, and just feed water with a light mollasses/sucunat dose until harvest.

Thanks for answering but after re-reading what i wrote i kind of worded it wrong lol, i knew what a flush was i just didnt get the "mollases/sucunat" part of it.. is that a nutrient that you give it? If so any chance of showing me which one please?
