Hey everyone,, it’s still cold today but the sun is out and the ground is frozen so the dogs don’t bring in mud so that all good stuff. Did our afternoon walk early while the sun was still above the trees. The wind is still gusting and they are still calling for snow on the ground Saturday morning so I’m kinda looking forward to that.
mad e sauce today so I guess we are having some spaghetti and garlic bread to go with it.

im sure it’s a real challenge being OCD. I had to be a bit OCD in my job as there were many people depending on me for their safety and security within my power but since retirement, I learned that regular life didn’t have to be that tight and my threshold limit of what mattered changed immensely. Mr sub and I have had arguments over things as silly as the proper folding techniques of what I throw in the recycle bin that simply flattening the box was not as efficient as cutting the loose ends so it was flatter than just crushing it. You have to be a bit stronger in your relationship when you have differences and realize that you might be wrong sometimes. But everyone has their limitations so we all have to remember that. Good luck on getting a hold of your OCD. It may help to switch up your day every now and then. ✌️🥰

Good morning brothers and sisters! View attachment 19129140 View attachment 19129141

A gorgeous clear day here, starting at 38F and predicted to reach 50F.

Well shit, the fun goes on! Tuesday at the emergency ward they got higher BP readings that I did at home so I compared my two BP meters and found that the one I was using was reading low and that my resting pulse rate was around 100 bpm where it is usually 54 bpm.

My BP was also high and rising. It reach 179/104 at 122bpm and I headed back to the emergency ward, where my pulse was up to 138 bpm with A-fib.

They slowed me down to about 87 bpm with medication and gave me a blood thinner, as well as a referral to a cardiologist and prescriptions for Metoprolol and Eliquis. Imagine my dismay to discover that the pharmacy didn't have either and won't have them for until late today.
@Gray Wolf <-- Just saw this ^^^^^ I have good news and informative news:

Good news:

1. The Eliquis blood thinner works great (been on it for many years) -- this will minimize the blood-clot hazard from the Afib you have. I am ten years ahead of you and still here.

2. You can forget what your heart rate is shown on the meters. This is because the extra bumps your "forever gonna have it" Afib causes your meter to drop the ball. Dead still resting for me and the meter says my HR is anywhere from (I am reading my records here) 111 Beats to 64 beats taken five minutes apart. This is four years of readings I am referring to. So forget that reading; it is bogus. Oh. And MySonTheDoctor told me this.

3. Your BP can be easily controlled. I dunno of Metoprolol, and that may work. If it does, it will work right away within a couple of days. Once more MSTD recommended to my physician that Carvedilol be prescribed. My BP this morning (at the doctor's office) was 105/66. <-- YAY. So if your BP does NOT get to a level satisfactory to you in, say, a week, check with your doctor re: Carvedilol.

Informative news:

1. You are done with alcohol of any kind.

2. Caffeine (DeCaf has caffeine) in any form is verboten. Coca-Cola, Tea, etc <-- Never to be touched again.

3. Weed is not only OK, it helps your particular condition. <-- TINS, Pilgrim

4. Play dumshit and think you can rise over Numbers 1 & 2 from time to time and you will not last long. I was born in 1940, and I have all the same problems you have -- And mine are in control, with me still happy and active (I have shot my crossbow today because I wanted to see if there was a drift in the targeting at the arctic 42F it is out there. Nope: I could put an arrow in your eye and out the back of your skull at 150 feet.) Anyway, due to Big, Boo, and Subbie -- I am having a hell of a good time** and living the dream.

** Something you can have a decade from now... providing you alter your lifestyle as described above. Now, 'scuse me -- Lumpy The Peacock is tapping at my window... He wants dinner.

Yes full melt is what I would like
You have to start with trichomes from good cannabis for the full melt to be anything to write home about. It is just a way to improve the potency per unit/volume by removing the non-target elements. You don't get any more stoned, it is just slightly less harsh without the cellulose and has less volume.

Most engineers are OCD. I sure am and could have never accomplished what I did if I weren't.

I can turn the absolute shittiest of cannabises into full melt..........fuckin idiots.
😆
The sweepings and rejects along with the trimmings processed for the intellectual elite.

Doober, may I suggest that you pick up the book Hashish by Robert Connell Clark?

Trichome sizes are strain specific and Clark gives this as trichome sizes:

150 microns – large plant debris

130 microns – very large resin glands
110 microns – large resin glands
90 microns – medium resin glands
70 microns – small resin glands and debris

50 microns – very small debris and little resin
below that – very small dust and debris

Kief is kief if from the same strain. You can increase potency by turning it into Full Meltl

The trichomes may break from the shaft at the top or the bottom, so some of the kief will have a tail and some of it won't. You also have free capitate stalks and capitate sessile hairs in the mix.

If you remove all the stalks, you have what is called Full Melt, which does increase the potency of the kief by removing the non reactive parts.

Kief as harvested.

I'm guessing that Doober likes hashish more that zen or motorcycle maintenance.

It is a good read for anyone seriously in love with hashish.
