Yeah I "retired" in 09 but get bored easily and need to stay busy so still pay a few doobers worth of taxes every year.
Seriously mulling just stocking up on a couple hundred pounds and shutting down sometime next year.
We aint getting any younger and Kitten wants to play some.

I 'm on board with that idea, staying in like always. I think in all my years I only ever went out once on New Year's Eve, was home before midnight.
When I worked at the particle board plant, they always closed down over the holidays for maintenance. I would be 1 of a handful who offered to work through it. Sometimes I was making double time and a half on those hours. In my mind I can party anytime but I can't always make that kind of money.

absolutely!..

we grew a covid crop , there were rumors of the pot shops closing down during the plandemic

we saw an opportunity if that scenario played out

so we may have fudged a little on our legal plant count and had a sweet harvest , around 50 pounds

a lot of those flowers are stored away in the freezer and we have been enjoying a break from being tied to the green tether

if we don’t grow this year , it will be a two year sabbatical

but yeah , I miss tending the plants

what a wonderful hobby this is!…

we had some snow leopards and triangle kush hybrids that were easily 3-5 pounds a plant

that helped keep the fudge numbers down

start out with 150+ photoperiod beans and cull 50-75 plants because they are males , runts , wind rain hail , and pests will do that

a lot of variables in there and a grower can go from being wiped out to having a Bonus Crop , an experience I don’t like is the wipeout

and then I have to buy my flowers from friends , but only a select few who actually know how to grow decent flowers 🫶
