is the bitcoin rally over?

nope

just getting started
I don't know if the "rally" is over or not, but it is most certainly on a speculative tear. Hedge Funds just love to roll with it.
To me it is much like a Ponzi scheme. I cannot understand any underpinning of its wealth, other than the next persons speculation that it will go higher (and it well could). Someone told me that the unkinown founder of BTC said it was either going to go to 1 million or zero. I have done a fair amount of reading on it, and it might be a good tool for gambling, but not for me. If I want to go to Las Vegas I know how to get there and place my number on the wheel. Warren Buffet's deceased partner Charlie Munger, called Bitcoin: "Rat Poison Squared". No sure if that is entirely accurate, or not.o_O

we have been in a digital economy for a long time now , hardly anyone uses cash anymore anyway so why not cryptocurrency?

and the dollar is backed by what , thin air?..

the feds just keep printing it and printing it , out of nothing , now there is a Ponzi scheme

the plunge protection team will not let the dollar crash , they will ease it down until it’s toast and replace the dollar with digital FedCoins

but make no mistake about it , the dollar will crash , it is a when and not an if scenario

the best hedge against the inevitable collapse is holding physical gold and silver…

this works pretty good after 2 cups of coffee with chicory

are you into charting , candlesticks , P&F?…

I try and keep an eye on the 50 and 200 day moving averages

dyodd

Yep, trade both with TA and fundamentals. I do a lot of longs, like trading/holding 18-21 stocks at any given time and am shorting some. I find the parabolics and try to short. Latest is SEXL which has gone up 3,149% YTD. https://finviz.com/ Probably spend a good 3 hours a day trading.

Trump rally is a live and well, hell ya.

Good luck!

Some of what you state is true. I still, however, use cash, and paper bank statements. Electricity can turn off. We have been using fiat for how long now? And the whole world is using it. Simple question: Why do the richest & presumably smartest folks on the planet prefer to keep & store the vast amount of their wealth in US Dollars?? Good question!! :D
