Some of what you state is true. I still, however, use cash, and paper bank statements. Electricity can turn off. We have been using fiat for how long now? And the whole world is using it. Simple question: Why do the richest & presumably smartest folks on the planet prefer to keep & store the vast amount of their wealth in US Dollars?? Good question!!

if the grid goes down for whatever reason , everyone will be in trouble no matter what currencies are used

food , water , and shelter will rule the day

You are right. But, it is a total 180 from what I am used to. I will follow your advise and discuss this with my financial advisor when I meet with him afrer the new year.

Yep, trade both with TA and fundamentals. I do a lot of longs, like trading/holding 18-21 stocks at any given time and am shorting some. I find the parabolics and try to short. Latest is SEXL which has gone up 3,149% YTD. https://finviz.com/ Probably spend a good 3 hours a day trading.

but yeah , a few years back I was day trading using Fidelity , Ameritrade , and E-Trade , watching the charts and all that stuff , mostly all in the Precious Metals companies , Goldfield , Newmont , and host of other miners

heady days when gold was trying to break through the $300 dollar barrier and silver trying to bust loose from $5 dollars an ounce…

Mornin' good people, how are ya. How ya like my custom cover for my new S/S smoker? Giving away my age I am.

Man, this thing is the bomb. Designed as an air tight, easily dialed in smoker. I've turned it into a grill and sear station using a Vortex on the lower grates. S/S hamburger press is nice. We loaded the meat with onions and seasonings. Broke it in with mesquite. I cut pecan, oak and mesquite off my place and toss in large chunks with lump charcoal.

Monitor grate temps and meat temps with a Thermoworks SmokeX.

in the meantime , we will use a Honda whisper quiet gas generator and a wood stove , that would be up in Washington

I installed a 22 KW Generac, 250 gal. propane tank @bigsur51 . Love it. Whole house.

Grid can't be trusted especially with the huge demand regarding the AI thingie.

I don't own any digital or stock.
All my wealth is in land,tooling,animals........shit I need and use on a regular basis.
I keep minimum in the bank and any I don't know what to do with I invest in my sons.
Been told my whole life I don't understand money by people who are in credit debt and own nada outright........I own my shit not the bank.
