Merry Weedsday morning venerable brothers and sisters of the mystic realm and sacred herb!

Mostly clear here, with a few sprinkles, starting at 35F and predicted to reach 56F.

Got my first painting bid for our house and discussed the peeling paint at the duplex with the contractor who painted it. He's agreed to fix it no charge but is unsure at this point why it peeled in the first place.

Gym first thing this morning and a luncheon out scheduled with a friend, followed by some quality time with our tax accountant.

I also have a request for Closed Loop System assistance from a brother in South Africa that requires some thought and digging for details, as well as caution sharing some details, as I no longer own some of the Terpenator designs and had rather not get dragged into another lawsuit.

Morning folks! .64 inches of rain so maybe the fire risk is down for a bit. No big plans except playing house-bitch.

peace

Huffing n puffing all night. (peak gust 65mph here) Heard sht banging around the house most of the night. Once that big light shows up over the horizon. I'll go out and see how much sht shifted from one place to another. Clean up on ALL isles....

Ford super duty death wobble repair on the agenda. Lower ball joints most likely.

@Gypsy Nirvana there's an old saying "sht eating dog" Was told by a vet that it has something to do with either lacking digestive microbes or minerals. He said the only thing to worry about is worms and bad breath.

interesting fact about ruminates (cows elephants ect.) The calves need to eat momma's poo to get the proper digestive microbes to digest the grass they eat. If they don't they starve to death.

☀️ is peaking below the horizon... off we go

18 - I think it was - so many to choose from - and with a bit of editing - should be able to get what's required 😀
Congratulations on getting it in 18!

It's tougher than you might imagine, isn't it??

We (Skunk Pharm Research,Ltd) decided to produce some training video's but we felt like such dorks reviewing our first tries, that we shelved the project. I was recently reviewing old files and was reminded of why.

Been thinking onnit -- Old memory: Vaseline softens calluses so they can be removed with emery board, pumice stone, yada. Ya gotta "soak" yer thumb overnight wrapped in a bandage to hold the icky Vaseline from getting all over.

Sooper Unca Trivia: The guy that "invented" Vaseline first found it around the top of piping in oil wells. He used it to sooth his sore hands. Ate a teaspoon of it every morning, too. (Yikes!).

I'm still catching up and got to the above.

Subbie The Dearest: [Daddy Of Doctor Hat ON ] Thassa typical callus. Lookit here:

"Calluses form when mild but repeated injury causes the cells of the epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin) to become increasingly active, giving rise to a localized increase in tissue. The resulting hardened, thickened pad of dead skin cells at the surface layer of the skin serves to protect underlying tissues. The thickening process is known as hyperkeratosis."

Wait -- There's more:

"...calluses are most frequently seen on the hands and feet
"...calluses develop from repetitive motion and recurrent pressure on the same spot.
"...calluses lack a distinct border. The affected skin is rough and discolored, varying in color from white [*AHEM*] to gray-yellow or brown.
"...Calluses are more common in women than in men." [*double AHEM*]
"...Calluses are often painless and can actually be advantageous to some athletes." [*triple*]

Consider your thumb to be your proven cognizance badge -- one that in Medieval times could have wound up pictured on your heraldic shield.
Dont know about womens hands being more common.
Maybe now considering most young guys are kinda weak with most of their callouses from playing with Pokemon.
I still have a big one on my right thumb from twisting wirenuts for 55 years.
