Hey guys,
I've thinned out a bit underneath. The GT is also still on, but not far enough into flowering for me.
I think it makes sense not to lollipop further but to “thin” more so that light penetrates deeper. Unfortunately, the Puma has become a little more than perhaps necessary. Well, it'll be fine :)

Hey there what nutrients are you using now?

Just joined folks..
New member but a long time ICMag viewer.
Best of luck on these..I’m collecting all things necessary for my spring revival of Ace and The RSC. Zamaldelica is on the list…
What’s your water situation? Tap? Spring? Bottled?
Great taming of this wild weed!

If you run sats in a canopy again you need less branching and less foliage at this point. The plants are wasting a great deal of energy to keep that lower growth green taking potential away from the tops. Try for no more than 8 mains and remove all leaves and branching otherwise. Look up swagging, hard to find the old commercial video. Less important with a room and hanging HID's but when you try to smash these into tents its much less than ideal. Sativa's in hydro do not like ec greater than 1.1-1.2, I did some comparisons on this with ohaze and some others.

Nice last pics though, didnt see those. I would still try to keep them cleaned up a bit down low. Have a great weekend!

The only reason the plant is showing these nutrient deficiencies is that the pots are way too small, and the nutrient dosage was too weak. That’s why I’m seeing these deficiencies, but I’m pretty confident that I won’t have this issue next time. Of course, there’s still a lot of room for improvement in terms of pruning techniques and the way the plant was trained, but for our first run, this just felt like the most natural approach for us.

Regarding your recommendation to clean up the lower growth—could you clarify what exactly you mean by that? I’d prefer not to cut anything at this stage, so I just want to understand if you think it’s absolutely necessary or if it’s more of an optimization for future runs

Not at this stage but I do 2 foliage removals minimum in these tents. Sativas can take 3. 2w into bloom, another 2 weeks later and possilby a third. It may also help reduce any deficiencies you see this time. the issue with bigger pots is that sativas will stretch more with greater root space. Nice grow from the looks of it especially for your first time. The real pure landraces are much more difficults though, Dubi has worked your lines to better suit indoor growth.

I grew a pure sativa this year, too, and I saw similar somehow contradicting signals similar to your sats flowering. Maybe somebody here got an idea about that...
Mine had rolled up tips with slight burn as if they were overfed, yet they also had yellowing leafs as if they would need more nitrogen. At the end I accepted the loss and wilting of leafs but I could not mange to keep the plant healthy green like I used to in indoor settings with hybrids.
