Each day there's a lack of a static point of reference on the puppy's size, as the changes occur regularly, but are sometimes subtle enough (other than when picking her up) to note the specific changes.

So, each day, somewhat tongue in cheek, I ask my wife numerous times, "Is she bigger?" Something I think I've done with every puppy, and maybe a baby or 2, nearly every time. It's become somewhat an inside joke.

Now we've included our daughter in this maddeningly redundant interrogation, as she delivered the pup to us on January 11 via her truck, from Anchorage, our younger son's birthday, (when he was too busy to pick up the phone), as she hasn't seen her since the delivery date, after which I know she's gained close to 7 lbs. or more (the puppy, not our daughter) (amazing what good chow on a consistent basis will do for a dog's potential, eh?)

So now ya'll can have the glory and prestige of being included in this daily question of parenting insecurity.

I drank a fifth of Bacardi 151 when I was 14. Fell on my face. Had my stomach pumped(from what they tell me). Not much of a rum guy after that. I had no idea that alcohol poisoning was possible(but what 14 year old does). There was an after school special around that time called ‘The Boy Who Drank Too Much’. My buddies called me that for a couple of months. I don’t drink much at all anymore.

Daughter (underaged) of a local attorney in Edinboro, Pa. about 1972 took a bet/dare re. chugging a mickey of 190-proof Everclear and passed out into a mud puddle when she dropped very shortly after. Shit got -real- for those involved.

I used to pride myself drinking a gallon of water a day and I’ve done that for years but now when it’s not the summertime, I’ve cut back to at least 3 quarts. I pee a lot…
I go out to have lunch with friends I worked with once a month and today we had Italian food. They were four different cheeses on top of Italian sausage on top of rigatoni that was to die for. I brought home enough for two more meals… I might just make a salad for dinner before I hit the hot tub

One of the ugliest drugs I've ever witnessed where a client lost physical function coupled with organic brain damage, lying on a cot in their living rooms, waiting for home health care to visit, typically perpetually soiled, non ambulatory, and not especially oriented.

Physically and mentally cast adrift. Slow death with way too many ramifications

That’s superclean. I get in the mood for a soda now and then but mostly drink water and water with a little of my grandkids koolade in it. And coffee, in the morning and the afternoon. When I do drink alcohol anymore Im a pretty cheap drunk, only one or two to get me in the silly zone.

In my youth going out I used to tell the girls a couple of drinks in me and you could very easily have your way with me.
Never remember many who did and those who wanted to , made me not want to drink
