I prefer a coffee in the afternoons than an alcoholic beverage these days. I usually just fall asleep early when I drink anymore but Ive never been a mean drunk or one to get me in any trouble.



actually part of what I said is true….allergic ……alcohol will 100% trigger a migraine so I have to avoid it for the most part

we made gin and tonic with quinine during the fake plandemic as a medicinal beverage and only about a half shot per drink , 1 fresh squeezed lime , and Q tonic water

now if I drank 2-3 of those I would be dancing with the devil

We had to hunt through a few varieties of Keto or Keto-like breads before we found one that had decent flavor and texture.

Once upon a time we made our own breads more often. These days we tend to reserve that for thin New York style whole wheat pizza crusts, or my wife's KILLER butter-top dinner rolls.

The Carbonaut Original has decent texture and flavor. Tried The Kroger brand Carb-Master bread, and it was disgustingly sweet, had more net carbs than Hero or Carbonaut, tasted like a dessert cake or something, and turned to a sort of paste consistency in the teeth. BLEH!!

The other very low carb bread products we found were made by Hero, in the Bay area, I believe, Fed Ex shipped 2-day air to the house, but even with free shipping over $35, it was too damned expensive, and didn't have the Carbonaut bread's texture.

The Carbonaut bread ('Original') brags 2-grams of net carb per slice, too, as a major bonus.

Still, for really good bread, nothing compares to the whole wheat, dense, honey and wheat berry bread we used to make, or a nice crispy chewy homemade whole wheat baguette.
Tumaros Multi Grain wraps were our go-to ‘bread’ substitute when we in the fogey household have been doing the keto thing. 3 g net carbs and they make a wicked pizza crust. I have even made them when not on keto. Obviously not as good a real pizza dough but it is pretty damn good. My wife is going keto starting tomorrow I believe because she is planning on a vacation to Costa Rica in late April. I suppose that means I am going keto tomorrow…😁

We've been buying keto tortillas, to accompany my homemade beef, bean and cheese burrito filling I sometimes make in bulk, as well as fajitas with chicken, or shrimp, etc.

Navigating our way through resources that permit or assist in our eating the things we like without as many negatives.

My wife has been perfecting a diabetic-friendly crust of ground pecans and walnuts pressed into pie pans and cheese cake pans with butter, to go with her awesome diabetic-friendly NY-style cheese cake, and recently, an awesome diabetic-friendly pecan pie. Something I hadn't been able to eat in over 15 years and like WAY too much!.

My most recent 'dietary sinning' involved 6 or 7 Prince of Peace Ginger Chews last night... Every now and then I get a masochistic urge to re-establish authority over ingesting potentially harmful treats, but MAN they're tasty, and it's been over 15 years since I drank a really tasty ginger beer, so the occasional cheating with the ginger chews gets rationalized approval.
