I still remember when the original thread started, on another site many moons ago... Damn I am getting old!
I hope all are high and well, smoking a blunt of P-85 with some apple rings whole melts crumbled in..

-25 f on the front porch's mercury and glass thermometer at the moment, outside of the house's thermal envelope.

Working on a joint of mostly Ghost Train Haze #1, with a bit of Space Cake #1 in it.

I'm about 6 months behind in mixing up about 160-gallons of organic soilless mix with the larger portable cement mixer in the basement and the nine 27-gallon totes, and have just a bit, maybe 8-10-gallons remaining from last year's batch to up-pot the clones into medium-small containers from the 3" cubes they've been in for too long.

Haven't brought a crop to fruition since summer of 2022, and have now taken 4 rounds of clones since then from the mothers I'm keeping (Goji OG #8, Ghost Train Haze #1, Original Arjan's Greenhouse Seeds Super Lemon Haze, and Satori #5), as they'd get root bound and I simply didn't have the energy or motivation to mix the soilless mix and amendments. Hoping that changes soon.

I have at least 10 packets of breeder packs from various sources that have been here too long, that I want/need to make at least an effort at sampling (that I've never grown before), including the Blissful Wizard BX1, Wizard Express, More Cowbell, and a number of other Bodhi strains. Then a collection of breeding efforts from a former friend in the bush, and some seeds sent to me from a med grower in Seattle that are supposed to be once or twice removed from some Land Race stuff from Northern India/Pakistan and Afghanistan.

When I relied on this for cash flow, there was rarely even a brief gap in making things turn around after a harvest. I don't miss the strain and stress of that life, but this lethargy and putting the mixes off 'until tomorrow' for 200 days has become a bit embarrassing and ridiculous.

Slowly shaming myself into productivity.

Age is one thing, pain is another. Together they make for one hell of a roadblock to productivity.

:D There are times where I have taken a good hit, and then just held the wheel going down the road, knowing I know the road, but for a few seconds I have no clue where I am going. :D

I have ordered from Walmart, accidentally ordered from the wrong store, and when I went to pick it up they did not ask my name, but went ahead and filled my car with groceries.
Got down the road and looked in the back and seen stuff I knew I did not order..
Tried to call them and take it back, but nobody would answer, drove back there and nobody came out for 5 mins, so I left to go the the right store to get my groceries, lol

My most common moment of frustration and subtle humility is going down the basement stairs to retrieve something, forgetting what it is, going back upstairs, remembering what it was, and going back down again... with my right knee having been rebuilt in '91, and my laminectomies 5-2/3 years ago.

We built a tall house 26 years ago, as horizontal square footage is more expensive than vertical square footage... and forethought about the future and our bodies' conditions never really figured heavily into the house design, just keeping the cost down.

That's an admission of short-sighted error, by the way.

But you haven't found anyone else's kids or dogs in the back seat yet, or that your car suddenly changed colors, right?

You're doing OK, if not.

I have a special tool to override that "safety" feature. It never fails.

That's called a BFH or Harley tool #1 ;)
