I kinda figured...I play one.
Or you look into the mirror on acid, jump back a bit frightened, and exclaim, "WHO IS THAT???!!"
geniusdid you have to replace the doorknob?…
Even with 17' wide, carefully tied together netting on my vineyard, I've had those sonsabitches steal over a 1,000# of grapes. They can be very aggressive too and carry rabies. I've had to shoot some that were acting really wonky in broad daylight.Yet another well fed predator!

Decades ago, my aunt and uncle's home was turned to ash by a toaster.I dont trust bread machines. Mine almost burnt the house down. Ran it, immediately ran another batch back to back and a receptacle on the other side of the wall burnt up and made a big black stripe up the wall!

alice's? spent many many hours in there...one night i ended up eating 10 hits of acid i was about to sell because a cop walked in...mid december, snowed like 3 feet that night, wandered around homer for hours tripping balls having no idea how i got to where i was...snowing so hard my tracks were filling in behind me...pretty crazy night/next day...Apologies to anyone who might've been offended by the hallucinogen references... The early 70s still lives on for some of us. One of the few effective antidotes for excess nonsense.
Read a scrawled bit of humorous wisdom on the planked slab-wood wall in the unisex restroom at Alice's Champagne Palace in Homer, Alaska in 1978 that read, "LSD consumes 250,000 times its own natural weight in excess reality."
Ended up writing that in black Sharpie on my electronic bullhorn that went to many a protest years ago.
Maybe a last dog pic for a brief while.
The pup below had begun her time with us as my older son's pup when he was 13, but when he moved out during his James Dean period of later adolescence, she got even closer to me, and we were best buddies.
She'd routinely meet me at the bottom of the main floor stairs and have some clothing item or another that she typically seemed to know was the very next item I was going to need, and when I'd reach for it, she'd abruptly turn her head away, preventing me from grabbing it. Daily morning games that brought smiles.
She'd wag so hard it looked like she was folding at her mid-section.
She was the first German shepherd we had that came literally pre-hardwired for everything from smoke in the house (broiling steaks, for example), to bedtime tuck-ins and checking on each person in their rooms, to security at the nearest point of entry, and even intervening in violence (whether play or real).
She passed away in our hallway with us petting her into the next plain on my wife's and my 33rd wedding anniversary, June of 2022. She was a real gift to my life.

I have had good luck sprouting poppy seeds by putting them in a damp paper towel inside a sealed ziplock and putting the bag in the fridge for a couple of weeks. Half of them had cracked after the two weeks. So far, they all seem happy. The big one I popped around Thanksgiving time and it didn’t like the window light it was getting but is happier now under a T5. The smaller ones are a week or so from sprouting.I heard from Lesso this morning and he is coming by tomorrow with a friend so we can sit here and sample seven different new flavors that he’s come up with. I have a feeling that I will be just ripe for the football game at 4 o’clock…. I gave him some girl crush seeds, which I’m looking forward to sampling. I can’t grow my flowers for what he gives them to me for so I might decide just to go ahead and pull the tent down… I picked up a book on poppies and have a bunch of seeds I got from bare frog many years ago and I’m gonna try my hand to poppies if the seeds are still viable.

I think most of us old farts here are pretty thick skinned and more than a few have no problem with hallucinogens. I may have done a microdose or two recently or this morning…Apologies to anyone who might've been offended by the hallucinogen references...

First go at it. I am a gardener at heart and these will go out in my yard(backyard to keep nosy neighbors unaware). I have read that they are legal as long as I am not milking them.Haven't grown Papaver Somniferum in over 40 years now. Fun plants.
