The thicker towel makes these ice packs feel wonderful. I froze my back so bad last night I thought it was gone but ice is the only thing that really numbs my back where I can’t feel the intense pain. The heating pad is for the belly… sometimes I feel like a freaking train wreck but I do have my good days so I live for them

Well, it started pretty cool at the Sneakydicker Chateau... but we are back up to 77F now.

Yup, I ice the back to numb it and use the heating pad for the belly scars… it takes an hour after I have my breakfast but it’s basically the only way I can jumpstart my day and be productive. I can’t push it near as hard as I was able to only a year ago but once I have the procedure I’m sure that all will change…My doctor tells me that if I would act my age, I wouldn’t hurt near as much but that’s no fun… we’re up to 68° here Walt

Thanks Pute, I’ve gotten used to it and I’ve just learned to work around the pain. Period. the back procedure they were supposed to have done on Tuesday really pissed me off when they told me they couldn’t do it after me being on the table for three hours. I am scheduled for next month, so I’m sure I can tolerate it for another couple of weeks…

I have fibromyalgia really bad and the winter is almost unbearable. I bought a heated blanket. I put it on top of my sheet then put another blanket on top. I sleep on it like a heating pad. I only have the dial between 2-3. Not too hot but It helps me feel way better in the morning. It is also a plus keeping my feet from freezing in those cold ass sheets

I use the heat primarily on my belly, night time it's really bad and will stop me from sleeping but once the heat warms me I'm good...when you have no options you learn to deal with it...I was gifted a bunch of mushrooms for Christmas but I am afraid to eat them until my back lightens up a bit...don't think I'd enjoy tripping while in pain...

We sleep on a waterbed which we set fairly warm.
Sleeping on a regular mattress cripples us.

Interesting day today so far
3 deer come meandering thru 2 bucks and a doe, might of been a late breeding on the doe.
Bigger buck stayed to her side spike held back.

Then down in my wife's office looking out the window came a red fox, not a pretty red just kinda blah.
Tags barking at it thru the window and the fox mustve heard him he came out of the weeds screaming.

Went to chiro this morning trying to get ahead of the fall Wednesday on the trailer.

Then picked up the mail, a buddy still hadn't got his seeds in California since before Christmas he tracked it said it was enroute.
Ya back to me pkg torn open and contents gone.
