Good Morning All (OF's):

Wishing each and every one of you, a pleasant morning, wonderful day, and outstanding evening.
I am currently pretty tied up with projects and work, so wanted to start with a daily check in hello.
Today's Tuesday. The week cruises on and the work week continues. One day closer to a weekend!

See you all tomorrow (again)! (y):)

Morning. Two kittens died yesterday. They just lost weight and died. I wasn’t going to go the vet route. Call me callous but I’m not spending money on two kittens at the vet. I don’t have the time nor the money for that.
The one that’s left is the strongest. I guess the old saying is right.

I’m worried I am going to keep him. Already figured out the litter box, can put it in the laundry room/basement. Since the two doors between laundry and house already have those little cat doors installed from the previous owners.
Little bastard got my heart. Either going to name him Donny 😂, or Skeebo. Going to be a beautiful cat.

Woke up three times with the oldest son last night. He threw up once and apparently was screwing off the next two times. I hate fussing at him like that. No one wants to make their child cry.
I heard this childless person once claim that people want to have kids so they can boss them around with orders. Said they want to be slave owners.

That’s the stoopidest chit I ever heard. I get sick and tired of having to tell my kids what to do all the time. And the little bit that they “help” causes more work anyway.
When I look at my two kids I feel this almost overwhelming feeling of love for them. I know now what my father meant when he told me years ago, a parent would face anything over their child.
That’s a fact.

Did anyone ever call you 'Wingnut' - due to the protruding ears?
You are spot on with the "wingnut" thing.

Gawd. The period of time you are Hair-man Suckin' Class** is made even more difficult because they make you wear wingnuts on your sleeves.

**At least, in the Army you become a Private FIRST Class, not a chairman second-rate.

BUT THEN COMES THE IQ TEST --

Marine Lt. tells his men: "Charge that enemy bunker!"

Army Lt. tells his men: "Take out that machine gun!"

Air Force Wingnut tells his Lieutenant entering the fighter cockpit: "Go gettem, Sir!"

I'm like a motorcycle with 1 flat tire. Just isn't the same. That one motion of lifting the left foot high enough to get it on the clutch pedal still eludes me. About 1 inch off the floor when sitting in a chair is all I've got.

Got the master cylinder changed out on the 2nd gen Ford van but the spongy / low brake pedal tells me it needs bleeding. I'm getting better at getting down on the floor / ground, but it still hurts and getting back up requires some thought and planning. Bleeding wheel cylinders will be fun no doubt. I should spray some rust breaker on the bleed screws a day or three before trying to crack them. I've had the RF opened when that wheel cyl failed last year but the other 3 are showing the effects of 50 years near the beach in So Cal. Just enough rust to make it interesting. The only body rot is the drip rail.

Shades of my first car, a 53 Ford, which I went through the master cylinder and all four wheels one at a time, with failures in between. Since then, when I replace a wheel cylinder, I do all four.

Soak them with penetrant and then heat them bleeders up with a propane torch, let it cool repeat, repeat, and go back and forth a bit with a six point socket, then replace the bleeder with a bit of anti seize,I'm from Canada and all we have is rust from the salt.

Good morning brothers and sisters! Hugz all around!

Another rainy day starting at 46F and predicted to soar to 53F during the sweltering part of the day.

Good thing I studied for my physical as everything passed except my creatin, which was high again last week, suggesting issues with my kidneys. It started after my pain doctor gave me a prescription for Meloxicam, so I discontinued taking it. I had another blood draw yesterday to see where the creatin is now.

Going on the sixth day counting the weekend, and no return call from the Ford dealership service department. Looks like I will be driving further for service to one of the surrounding towns. Must be nice having so much business that they no longer care about customers....................................

Despite owning five Fords over the years, this is the first time I've dealt with their dealerships and am seriously disappointed after the excellent service I've gotten from VW and Mercedes dealerships. Giving me second thoughts about my commitment to by American to support our economy, when we are our own worst enemies...........
