Nice song to start a day

Lots of soul in those fingers. NICE! One of my faves of the same genre is Ottmar Liebart.

Saw Joe Satriani in a Jimi Experience tour. Was awesome guitar work, as usual.

Still can't get no satisfaction....but I try.

2 degrees here with wind and going up,to a balmy 33 and the good news is there is another bitter cold snowy front right behind this one

as far as dabs and flowers and such: to me the high from concentrates is different than flowers…fast acting

flowers are a different kinda high

the concentrates do Not block the flower high , I can have a couple dabs and then sit down and enjoy a big hooter and it keeps that buzz going a long time

all that adds up to a relative pain free day , think anti inflammatory , not to mention the awful, side effects of happy , hungry , and sometimes sleepy..

in conclusion , partaking of concentrates does not build up my resistance to the psychedelic effects of cannabis , just like LSD-25 , I can experience the high everytime , the high only changes because of the set and setting…

so yeah , I will partake of the sacred herb in as many ways as I can and the variety of ways to partake of the herb only serve to keep the experience fresh and new each day

not the same with coffee ….women and coffee…cant explain it but it does my spirit good for some reason…

I personally have found nothing that gets me as high as smoking, but no longer do so in deference to my aging and highly protesting lungs. I vaporize herb or dab concentrates at 450F.

Rosin or other concentrates allow you to get high while exposing your lungs to less irritants.

The yield is higher extracting with a solvent, than pressing for rosin, as rosin leaves more behind.

Solvent processes lose some of the terpenes as azeotropes when purging the solvent, while Rosin retains more terpenes than most of the solvent extraction processes, so is typically more flavorful, but slightly harsher to dab or smoke.

I've only pressed flowers or kief, but ostensibly you can press trim, with a lower yield.

Kief is commonly placed in bags and pressed for the higher rosin yield. Not higher in total, as dry sieving and bubble extraction leave a lot behind at the point where they are starting to turn green from plant particles and rosin extraction also leaves the spent material covered in rosin.
Thanks GW. I’m sure I will try the dab thing one day. Only had one chance and the equipment looked like something a drug addict would use so I opted out. Maybe if I were first or second to take a few hits from a clean glass.
it still seems like a lot of extra steps in the process of both making it as well as cleaning the glass after every use is what I do when I use any glass to smoke as I hate dirty…
‘I’m sure I will try this one day as I don’t mind getting a bit extra high now and then 🤪. Maybe I’ll give it a try at our annual get together at S&Ss house this year 😳
‘I smoke prolly a lot more than yall taking several smoke breaks during the awake hours. but a blunt or a bag from my vaporizer still gets me high. I do get highter sometimes especially when I smoke a different stash or change to another strand. Would hate it if my tolerance was so high that a Marley wouldn’t get me high so maybe I’m better off. ✌️

On Boo's advice my Red Ryder BB gun arrived yesterday! Varmints beware!

I need to figure out a way to make concentrates. My lungs are tired.

You'll sting them is all which may be enough of a deterrent. Dog(s) is the best deterrent.

I've had like 1,000# of prime vinifera grapes stolen from my small (205 vines) vineyard by those bastards. I netted for many years but they learn to reach in with their hands and still get a lot of fruit. Used to use the Livetrap and kill them (raccoons) with a 22 but it's one helluva way to start the day. Gonna run a double hot wire around the vineyard around the perimeter.

So I have a question about this rosin stuff. I will try not to sound like unca but I will tell ya I know nothing about rosin. So when you take really good bud flowers from your favorite weed and press it into that rosin, does it get you higher than smoking a fatty of the same weed? I’ve never tried it and it Seems like quite the process to go through then there is smoking it… a whole nuther process I sure. What is it that makes rosin so good? Also do you prefer it to smoking a joint or bowl or other way you would normally get high?

I see some use it for cooking with. First I’ve heard of rosin used in gummies.

and one more question, when you make it, do you use flower or trim?
You can use flower or trim but kieff works best so tumbling the kieff for the trim is a excellent way to go.
Far more flavorful than solvents and much safer imo.

Pressing well cured flower results in extremely smooth flower rosin whereas the fresh press tends to have a brighter flavor which is harsher on the throat and makes people sneeze.

I am hoping stinging will help keep the pests away. Had a bob cat visit a couple days ago. Fox has been running around as well. Always something.

Right now I don't want the bobcat messing with my dog.

Sadly no more dogs. After this one I will walk alone.
Am afraid I'm in the same boat, albeit I'm lonely without one. Been rescuing dogs and cats all my life. All of my rescues have been great.

Had to put down my heeler about 6 months ago. She had fatal lyphoma. Am still with a 17 year old cat.

Good luck. Pests are a real PITA and can be very destructive.
