I make one mean omelet.

Girlfriend dragged me to our local county livestock show last week in support of her friends. Her little friend, 9, entered with a chicken he and his parents raise on a large tract of land here in Texas. Those poor chickens undergo a lot of stress during the hectic event, being held up by their legs while an animal science pro checks the breast out for size one by one for meatiness, structure. I watched as a little girl lost her chicken to a anxiety induced heart attack. With tears in her eyes, she stroked its head as she crouched down in the lineup.

I'm an animal lover and hate to see such stuff. Don't care how "dumb" the creature is. But, that's life.

So I have a question about this rosin stuff. I will try not to sound like unca but I will tell ya I know nothing about rosin. So when you take really good bud flowers from your favorite weed and press it into that rosin, does it get you higher than smoking a fatty of the same weed? I’ve never tried it and it Seems like quite the process to go through then there is smoking it… a whole nuther process I sure. What is it that makes rosin so good? Also do you prefer it to smoking a joint or bowl or other way you would normally get high?

I see some use it for cooking with. First I’ve heard of rosin used in gummies.

and one more question, when you make it, do you use flower or trim?

Smoked rosin once and I gots stoned AF and Ima nota liteweight

I am fairly new to this whole rosin world, but this is my experience so far...

Dabbs get me much higher then smoking or vaping flower. This seems like it would be a good thing, however I LOVE smoking joints and occasionally hitting a bubbler. Dabbs can destroy your tolerance really fast. If I over do the dabbs then getting a satisfying high from flower becomes nearly impossible.

I can smoke flower with the occasional cough, but when I dabb it's guaranteed I will go into a tear inducing cough session.

The flavors I get with rosin is untouchable. It's an absolutely amazing experience being able to taste all of the "good stuff" without any of the green stuff.

As far as the paraphernalia...There is a bit of an investment necessary. A little research goes a long ways. I have ocd and am anal about keeping my paraphernalia clean. After a dabb session my gear goes in to an alcohol soak until the next time I do it again. It's pretty easy for me to keep things clean because I only do it on special occasions.

So much more to share, but I need to head off to work. I can share how I use the rosin for gummies and other edibles when I get some freetime later.

Define retirement? I define it as simply being financially secure enough to do what I want, when I want.

Being retired allowed me to co-found and operate Skunk Pharm Research and WolfWurx, Inc just for fun.

Everything that I've contributed to the cannabis industry has been since I retired in 2005 at age 62.

I've come to believe that we need ongoing exposure to new stuff to stand a chance of growing new neural pathways in our brains at an equal or greater rate than we are losing them in our dotage.

What are the chances the sedative feeling are coming from the potency? For instance, have you ever experienced the stereotypical fx of a concentrated “sativa”?

Its tough for me to sleep when my mind is flooded with ideas and what not, idk maybe it just me… good morning viejitos!
