Apparently a one pound steak far exceeds my daily allowable protein intake which makes being a carnivore somewhat..........I mean seriously wtf kind of decision is that.
Having two docs is not making things easier.
I am gonna get them both in the same room and see what happens as my next move.
Nobody said anything about 2 1/2 pound steaks did they? It may be a good compromise...

My poor mom is going through something similar with her doctors. She has a severe case of Reumatoid that has progressed and is now attacking her organs. Every doctor she visits puts her on a conflicting plan with the other doctors. There has been zero communication between them all and I'm afraid they are doing more harm then benefit. Fix the heart only to destroy the lungs kind of thing.

Haha! As a commercial pilot myself, I know the feeling.

But I'm guessing you never landed at the old Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong. It was even hairier!

LATE EDIT ADD: I just noticed -- I am not smart enuf to be a commercial pilot. I am IFR puddle-jumper only.

Oh, I knew about the old one fer sure. But I had been told that they built another, much bigger airplane patch that was nothing like the horrible "landing downtown" one.

That old one was a little simpler: Nobody had to worry about which runway to use.

While we are on the subject of Hong Kong, somewhere I heard that the most expensive real estate on earth by the square foot is Hong Kong. HAH. Just looked it up.

Jeez. My hidey-hole is an acre. So 43560 square feeties times $2335 equals... Holy shit! Hadda do it twicet: $101,712,600.00

Over a hunnert million bucks an acre. Can you imagine the cost of renting an apartment downtown? They exist.

I guess I should be ashamed but I really don’t give a shit at this point. I pissed away the entire day by sitting by the fireplace and avoiding the cold outside. We are in the 40s today which should be illegal for this state. I’ve got the heating pad on my back and the fireplace keeping them nice and toasty. I had good intentions on making meatballs today, but those intentions didn’t get very far. I always have mahi-mahi in the freezer and that is my go to default meal when I’m too lazy to cook anything else… I have my back procedure set up for Tuesday and I can’t wait for relief…
I saw on the news earlier the town I live in is thinking of forming in aggressive dog registry. I refuse to buy yearly tags for my dog no less put them on a registry that puts them in harms way…That’s another bone of contention I have with the authorities…
