We lived right on the beach in a large wood framed house that had been divided into apartments. The apartment I moved into had sliding glass doors that looked out onto the Gulf. A few steps and I was surf fishing nearly every morning before work.

I do not miss the number of people who have populated the area. It's much quieter here in the panhandle. The beaches are nicer too.

I lived across from Gulf Blvd and could see the beach from my front door. I was @JohnS Pass fishing in 5minutes. I absolutely killed the Snook from that bridge. CL
