I moved from Illinois to MN mainly for the snow, fishing and a bit more desirable climate

I moved from Chicago to Florida to escape the snow and cold weather but returned to take care of my elderly Mother. CL

Big Sandy creek is full of sand , doh…but has scattered places where there are rock concentrations….that is where we hunt , the rock concentrations..

Good Morning Folks
Years ago Im going to my BIL house in Westchester.
He worked in Conn and I took the Bridgeport ferry to Conn and on we went.
Stopped at a gem store/Chrystal store
I buy 3 arrow heads. My young nieces and nephews were 8.
The next day we are out side and Im with the three kids.
They have a lot of deer up there so Im telling them a story about this was a good spot for hunting deer and the Indians would hide here and shoot the deer coming thru.
Sometimes they miss and you can sometimes if your lucky can find arrowheads.
Gave them a tsunami of a uncle joe story and we went looking .
I made it so each found a arrowhead.
They still have them and they are in their late 20's now.
Broke their hearts couple of years ago when I told them it was I who played Santa.
Reminds me also when my friend 's Dad died at 92.
We were in the house after the funeral and I went to Nick ,my friends nephew ,West Point grad and an Army Ranger. I said Nick I got bad news and dont kill me ,but it was me who was Santa.
He let me live because his Grandpa loved me!

we are off to the big city for teeth maintenance…last appointment , the new snap in denture adventure is about over…10 titanium posts , 5 on lower and 5 on uppers..

I need about 2000 mg of Fukitol this morning and a big bowl of I don’t give a schitt and maybe my brain will slow down

Morning everybody, everybody still sleeping here. Just took my first set of meds, I'll be glad when this is over with and hope it works.

@buzzmobile my garden is real small, and what is in flower is a accident. I moved them to the flower box to veg some more and forgot to change the light time. So they are real small. They still in 1 gallon buckets. Got 2 azad or asad, it's to early and 4 skywalker og x nl5 seedlings ready to up pot. I only grow for the wife and i. When I first moved to South Georgia, people were boiling them everywhere. I could barely stand to walk thru the fumes. As time passed I grew to love them and got a bag of them every time I saw them. You can boil the roasted ones but the green ones are much better boiled. Especially with some spicy added.

got my grandson to help me dig but after he found a few coins I just sit back and watched him dig the rest of the dirt out….

i have never told him this and it’s been about 20 years now….ha!
