All right now it is time for Current Events.
MamaD and I got married on Indian Rocks Beach 43 years ago today. She was the girl next door when I moved into the apartment she was leaving. I was working as a photographer for the Olan Mills Face Factory in Seminole one morning when the studio manager came into the camera room after I finished a set of baby photos. She had a very serious look on her face when she said, "Buzz, I have a telegram for you." That was a first for me. I opened it to see the following message:
"Happy Sadie Hawkins Day! I'll give you 10 years to marry me. Please don't make me wait that long."
I said Yes.
We have an Elopement Anniversary November 17. That came about after her Mom came down before the wedding and changed all of the plans that MamaD had put in motion. LOL
It's another Leap Year.
We have plans to go look for a Corona on April 8, 2024. Commerce TX is in the path of totality. Fingers crossed for clear skies.

I lived for 12 years on Mad beach and I miss the hell out of it there! CL
We lived right on the beach in a large wood framed house that had been divided into apartments. The apartment I moved into had sliding glass doors that looked out onto the Gulf. A few steps and I was surf fishing nearly every morning before work.I lived for 12 years on Mad beach and I miss the hell out of it there! CL
I do not miss the number of people who have populated the area. It's much quieter here in the panhandle. The beaches are nicer too.

Ok.... good morning. This place moves fast. Brewing tea for the girls. The little ones will love this stuff.
