I was married once before. She got pregnant. Only one problem. It wasn't mine and she said it was. Turns out my best friend was banging her while I was at Basic Training. When the kid showed up 3 months early and weighed 8 lbs ....... well I was pissed.

I left and never looked back. She died this summer. I do have a relationship with the kid. Saw him a few months ago. He has my name and we both know who his dad is.

Needless to say I haven't spoken to the dad.

Dogs, I’ve got no need for a cat or the ability to have one…Ivan would eat a cat in a heartbeat…I’ve got a feral cat out in the barn…that cat puckers it’s asshole when Ivan comes around…S&S, next time I visit my sister in Vermont you may find me on your front porch…I don’t go there often but you’re on the list to stop bye and meet up… I will have the boys, so we need to do something about Stella…😉

zero meds , zero prescriptions …last doc told me at my age most people are on 5-6 meds

i told him it was the weed and the psilocybin

he asked me if I could hook him up with some shrooms cause he has always wanted to try them…tins

and then he was called into the emergency room when a fresh ambulance pulled up….so yeah , he never got to try them…😂😂😂
Wow, no meds.....superman. However I do recall you spent a bit of time in a dentist chair this year. No meds? ha ha!

take that!…

well doh , rip out 22 teeth and dam right I am gonna take some Vicodin and percosets , the key word here is temporary , like 2 weeks

so yeah , the pain is gone and so are the opiates….in the fridge in case of emergency , we like to keep a few pain pills around the house , it is a 60 mile drive one way to the nearest hospital and I might need something to hold me over until I get to the ER

doc asked me if I was taking any blood pressure meds?
any cholesterol meds?
any anti inflammatory meds?

no no no no and more no’s

The statistics on medication usage among elderly patients in the US are eye-opening: more than one-third of prescriptions drugs used in the US are taken by elderly patients; the ambulatory elderly fill between 9-13 prescriptions a year (including new prescriptions and refills); the average elderly patient is taking more than five prescription medications; the average nursing home patient is taking seven medications.

just a quick note about this old mans health report today...the nephrologyst sat me down and discussed my recent blood work earlier today...seems my kidneys have decided to heal up with the help of clean living and righteous eating...the numbers that reveal the kidneys health have elevated themselves to near normal levels...doc says he's got no need to see me for another year...great, my guts are ready for a long life but the body is a total wreck but I carry on...

There was quite a bit of disappointment this morning amongst the family - the health club which we are members of decided to close the pool for an unspecified amount of time - so I'm looking to swap health clubs - so as to be able to use a clean swimming pool myself and for the kids too - problem is that it takes 3 months to get out of the current contract - and it might take our current gym/health club up to 3 months to get the pool fixed - so that'll leave us without the swimming 🏊‍♂️ and aqua aerobics - that has become a staple of our workouts - for possibly a long while - unless we fork out the extra expense to join the new club with a working pool now - while still paying for the club with a broken pool - oh decisions-decisions - sometimes life seems to throw you an awkward hand - which can be good - especially if you can find some greater understanding because of it - and learn to make things better - somehow -

- ahh but my meagre problems pale in comparison to those gone before on these British Isles -

Happy New 😊 Year to all ICMAG members and visitors -

At this time of year - it is customary to make a New Year's Resolution - with us older generation it's usually ' I just want to live another year with the quality in life - I have grown to enjoy' - or something along those lines -

Often people will swear 🤬 to going on a diet/exercise regime - quitting coffee or sweets or something else they might deem bad for themselves -

So let's hear what your own New Year's Resolution would be - if you can be resolute enough to see it through for a whole year -
