i was getting ready for a siesta so i go outside to burn one down and what do i see but the most amazing bright yellow bird with black wings! just jumping around my backyard

even after i finished my joint i stood outside checking him out as he flew around the yard

I have not seen an Oriole where I live now but have in the past in another province. They built a hanging nest.
They are an attractive bird with a song to go along with their good looks.

There is a bird here that early in the year (breeding season)
has a call that sounds like: juuuuuuu dy? judy, judy, judy.
Later in the season it sounds like: riiiiii cky? ricky, ricky, ricky.
I've not looked it up yet to see which type of bird it is.
4 a.m. on my porch, I hear them all.
