I've had them at a Wildlife Assoc. bash, where people get to try many different kinds of wild game. As a matter of fact, I helped out in the kitchen and skinned the membrane off of the elk testes. Put a coating on them and fry them up, they tasted good.
I much preferred the elk testes over the beef. I lived on a beef ranch for over 10 years.
You should try turkey burgers doober. You like mushrooms. Ground some up in the turkey, add some spices. Not the same as a beef burger but still really good.
