Oh cool! I'll request pills the day before and say Im getting anxiety and I'm afraid. If I can come home with something from the dentist I'll be happy. If they extract a molar will they stitch????? Pills for sure. Laughing gas. More more more

Typically, they use locals and stitch after an extraction.

Sorry about your tooth. I have the dentist on the 24th. One of my molars has a bad cavity in it it doesn't hurt but the dentist said the nervem is like near the cavity so I need to get a root canal so I told her just to extract it so looking forward to that on the 24th

Hi DB, I wish I had never said to the dentist, "just pull it out" I lost enough of my molars that I couldn't eat right and had to get a partial plate(4teeth) years later at considerable more expense.
That's just my experience.

I find dentists and their procedures so much less painful then years ago. The last 2 broken teeth I had fixed my dentist did it without freezing, it did not hurt at all.
They can give something like valium if you are feeling very nervous.

to get a tooth pulled they will prolly just fill you up with Novacane, pull the tooth then stuff your mouth with cotton. Why dont you just get the cavity filled? Might miss the tooth for chewing.

Rain today, starting at 49F and predicted to reach 64F.

What a joke Angi's List turned out to be. I asked for three bids and got two calls from the first vendor. The first to tell me that they didn't do that kind of work and the second because they didn't know that someone from their company already called.

The second vendor showed up but didn't submit a bid, even after I called three days later and left a message that I was closing the bid at noon that day.

The third never showed, but I got an email from Angi telling me that I had to verify my appointment with the vendor with them.

What a joke! None of the vendors spoke fluent or easily understood English, so even with the drawing I provided, I had to explain it and repeat myself, before not getting a bid. No one who contacted me was native born and I question whether they had green cards.

When I answered Angi's message requiring me to verify my appointment with vendors, they offered to set up another appointment and I told them I couldn't be more unhappy with their lack of professionalism and that we wouldn't be doing business.

Starting over seeking bids from vendors who are big enough to afford a website, but still shooting blind because I've been retired 19-years and my professional contacts are mostly retired, dead, or otherwise long gone.

I don't know if it gets used much in your area but there is an App called NextDoor which is basically a social media platform designed to put you in touch with people and businesses within your region. I believe it's nation wode but once you start using it, it only shows you posts originating from your neighborhood, city or county. I only mention it because I see a lot of handymen, electricians, plumbers and mechanics promoting themselves there. There's nothing like what you find with Angi that helps you find a specific type of contractor. You basically make a post saying what the job is and/or what type of contractor you need and if a contractor sees your post and feels he can do the job he comments on your post and provides contact information and then you take it from there. Some times instead of being contacted by a contractor someone in the area who had similar work done will tell you about someone they used and they give you the contact info of who thy hired. It's kind of hit or miss compared to something like Angi that's meant to put you in touch with contractors but I figured it was worth mentioning if you have trouble finding someone.

He said a good beginner machine is called Creality ender 3v3se @amazon around $219.oo Sub model se is slower The KE is faster cost more. He said if you need help setting and running machine he's will to talk you through it. Can give you his number through a pm.

He loves running them....

Hey for a root canal or extraction, will they give me opiates to bring home? I could get higher. Like Michael Jackson high.

Pre Opioid crisis a tooth extraction or a root canal was a sure way to get at least Hydrocodone or if you got a cool dentist you might get percocet. Neither will get you Michael Jackson high but if you're not used to opioids it will give you a buzz and pretty much knocks out the pain. Typically the only give you enough for about a week.

Now that it's Post Opioid crisis I don't know if they still do that or if you have to go thru a pain management clinic first.

Hey man good morning! On my second walk of the day. Mom gave me a $40 reward for helping her walk some dogs she's taking care of. I'm going to deposit it in the bank. I have four meatballs in the fridge
