A mostly clear day here starting at 34F and predicted to reach 51F, clouding up in the evening in preparation for more rain.

Working on historical records for the "Patent War" action team and data to support my battle with Area Heating and Cooling, who is trying to defraud me by marking repair parts up 800%, in addition to their $150 just to show up and $200/hr rate. Their service manager fluffed off my objection, so my next assault will be their general manager, before resorting to legal action and social media.

Don't forget YELP. Send them a copy.

Oh - and a Great Big WELCOME BACK! - to oldpink - my very favorite sky diving - base jumping - bike riding SCOTSMAN - always a great bloke (if you can under stand the dialect from Glasgow) - when he gets with his local mates - even I find it hard to make head or tails of what he's saying -

From Glasgow! Was there about thirty years ago. That is where is discovered black pudding (blood sausage) and haggis. Two of the most wonderful taste treats. Oh. And scones.

The first time I had blood sausage, I went back for seconds. Folks consider it "in" to knock haggis, but if you fed it to them without telling its name, they'd fargin love it.

Sorta like fruitcake. The mass-produced crap excreted through supermarkets is not fruitcake. If you ever tried home-made (eg: proper) fruitcake, you would sneer at those who joke about it.

I loved Glasgow. The girls were redheaded and gorgeous. The men were friendly as could be. I met the "bailie" (whatever that is) in a pub in the town square, and we got along so well somehow they left the pub open when it was supposed to close in the afternoon for some reason. <-- Some weird law at the time (about 30 years ago).

A quality day spent working on Patent Wars data, as well as my battle with Area Heating and Cooling over their fraudulent practices. I got the Visa billing yesterday, so today I will disallow the charge as fraud and offer them the opportunity to re-bill me at our agreed upon rate, which I will pay.

No luck finding a replacement vendor as all so far refuse to talk labor rates and parts markup.

Today is the day for my appointment at the pain clinic to review RFA as a temporary solution to my lower back pain.
