more plumbing today , have to beat a path to Ace hardware for a couple Sharkbite fittings , I got the wrong size yesterday and now I am paying for it , 25 miles one way to the store

Good to know I'm not the only home repair handyman who revists the hardware store multiple times per project. So F'n frustrating.

Morning OFC! Record high temps here today.
I won't see much of it. Copious amounts of work taking place in the basement today. Up potting, harvesting and feeding taking place.

My truck needs brakes and need a break in this action to get it in the shop. Another expense I don't need. Next week.

I also have an appointment with the retina surgeon next week. Geez....

cant imagine how much more material I would have if I lived far away from stuff.
In my life I like to have in my possession shark bite couplings ,caps and valves in 1/2 & 3/4
Also have caps for speedy valves under the sinks and toilets.
They leak when disconnected and shut off ,dem bitches

never had a shark bite leak yet knock on my noggin’…

I use a combination of pex and sharks

ut yeah , like jokerman said , I try to keep plenty of both on hand , redundancy thingy…

but I was out of a certain size sharkbait fitting , one end clamps onto the pvc and the other end accepts a regular pex tubing…..I am sure there is a name for said fitting….female at both ends
