Can you blow a conch shell buzz?

That's kinda personal, @SubGirl .


But for you, No I cannot. My Dad had a friend from Hawaii and Pete could make a conch shell roar. He also showed us how to remove the conch from its shell by knocking a hole near the tip and then he would grab the "foot" a conch uses to move along the ocean floor in his teeth and pull it out. A conch outside of its shell is an alien-looking creature. They are a lot better looking in a fritter.

I have only seen him once - when I went to his house in Rosedale to fix his cheap ass hifi. And he did not offer me a toke from the joint he flamed - merely asking me not to tell anyone.

My amp,tuner and cd player are from Canada from a co named Classe.

Yes I’ve seen that. We were on a trip to the bahamas and found a good local to find us just the experience away from the tourist. We stopped by to pick up some conch to cook on the beach. There was a bunch of Rasta guys with conch splattered all over their skin and hair cracking them in the back of a pickup truck. They convinced Mr Sub to eat the pistol out of one (Bahamian Viagra they said…). They assured me it was gonna be a great night for me . That was a fun and very sketchy trip.

Cloudy with rain here, starting at 41F and predicted to rise to 49F.

Unable to sleep so am up early this morning. My battle plan kept going through my head on dealing with Area Heating and Cooling quoting me $150 to show up and $200/hr plus repairs to fix the furnace at one of the rentals but billed me $900 for 30 minutes work and $120 worth of parts on my Visa.

Their service manager stands by the billing, so pursuing my next option with the general manager and preparing for a legal battle after I cancel the Visa charge as fraud.

Go to your consumer affairs and check out his licensing and twist that nut too.

good morning, frosty monday morning here. we had a cold front come to visit for a couple days. never know how our weather is gonna be,

I sold hifi/pro audio for 40 years in Canada/US, so I know Classé. Originally from Montreal but then bought by B&W - who were Canadian-owned (Equity Group) by this time - in the early 90s.

@Boo i have a question. I think I remember you having an ozone machine. I have one too and ran it in my inside tent after cleaning for about an hour to try and kill anything I missed when cleaning and wiping down.
‘my other tent tho is in my utility room where my gas furnace and gas HWH is. I want to run the machine in that tent for about an hour and wondered if there was any detrimental effect (like explosion or anything) before I do it.
any ideas?

I don't see any issues subbie, the ozone machine drops a oxygen molecule out of the air so if naything your pilot lights may go out but if only used for an hours I think your safe...just don't let the plants get near the ozone...

The tent will be empty, clean and closed. I only plan to run it for an hour on low. It’s an industrial machine and can clear a room of any smells In minutes.
