I remember at a deli once and the girl behind the counter was not nice.
My credentials are such that I have a masters 30 in deli ,She was out of place ,so b4 I left I took one container on the counter which just showed how big it was from 1/4 to 1 lb. and I wrote the one in the blue is a facia bruta !

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards.
One day they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me...I know we've been friends for a long time...but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it. Please tell me what your name is."
Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know?

A carpet layer had just finished installing carpet for a lady. He stepped out for a smoke, only to realize he'd lost his cigarettes. In the middle of the room, under the carpet, was a bump. "No sense pulling up the entire floor for one pack of smokes," he said to himself. He proceeded to get out his hammer and flattened the hump. As he was cleaning up, the lady came in. "Here," she said, handing him his pack of cigarettes. "I found them in the hallway." "Now," she said, "if only I could find my gerbil."

Just like Old Lodgeskins in "Little Big Man" -- my heart soars like a hawk! The reviewer said he liked it both times he read it
Book sales are absolutely immaterial to me. (Good thing!) But having people read my stuff and say they are glad they read it... is the reason I wrote that stuff.
