I bought two orphaned staghorns today that were 70 miles apart. I’ve been on the road quite a bit and I am pooped. One weighed 300 pounds and it was rather difficult to get it into the back of the truck from the ground… the plant was so big that the fronds hung over both sides as it sat in the back of the truck…

Book sales are absolutely immaterial to me. (Good thing!) But having people read my stuff and say they are glad they read it... is the reason I wrote that stuff.

my back was pretty sore when I got up but it's doing much better than I thought...I had a lot of weight in my arms and tried to bend and lean smart...I'll know more tomorrow...
