Actually special to me only I guess. My mom passed last year and always made these. This is my second attempt at them. The first ones were a flop and collapsed so I couldn’t squeeze the custard in them. My mommas were much more beautiful than mine.
‘no THC in them but if you get a munchie buzz a couple of these go down pretty good
A front quarter will give you the rib steaks and roasts you like but the hindquarter generally speaking is the most tender cuts overall. The front quarter meats are good for braising, stews, short ribs(I like short ribs) also the brisket. Hindquarters are good for t-bone, porterhouse, all the loin steaks or roasts and the round portions. That's a limited kind of break down. I use to live on a beef ranch, helped out and got cheap rent and beef.Unsure as of yet. I am still studying up on the how to of purchasing a quarter cow.
I love me a big fatty ribeye and would most likely eat one a daily, if it were more affordable.
I will have most ground and want some good roasts. I also want the organs and tongue
+ all the beef fat trimmings.
There are 3 local farms that I will schedule a tour of soon. Most likely I will miss the Fall
harvesting but hope to be ready for Spring.
I have been full on 'carnivore' for over a year now and will never go back
to eating a standard american diet. The fat loss was only the external/ visual
cue that I was becoming healthy. The non scale effects are numerous
and actually unexpected.
Most importantly my mind is crisp and my clarity is unbelievable.
Energy is off the charts. I no longer need BP meds and... no more joint pain.
I have also gained strength, muscle mass and stamina.
At 67 something I never imagined would happen did...
my libido has returned.
That is enough antidotal evidence to never ever change my chosen
way of eating.
Ending up in a nursing home, loosing my independence and needing
someone else wipe me bum scares me worse than death.
In essence, I have found the fountain of youth
I know I need a cheeseburger now

here in socal we have this place called in n out
the meat is fresh and not frozen and its a solid burgers at a good price
there is this place in tx called braums! that serves an awesome burger at an even better price
/they are a farm that uses fresh meats and they make a lot of their own cheese/ dairy stuff
to round out my top three im going to go with freddys! burgers
they call it a steak burger but the price isnt too much and they have those matchstick fries
whats decent in your area?

We have a McDonalds on the big Morrison's roundabout 5 minutes away and a Burger King about 35 miles away up the wiggly road, takes an hour to get to.
Yeah, we're spoilt.
The medics finally took the dressing off the Sternumotamy - still have 4 wires going into my heart 
- they did the latest ECG and said that it looks good enough to release me - problem is that the surgeon/doctor that can sign me out of St Thomas's Hospital - has just ran The London Marathon - and is down the pub - or went home - so bugger it - I've got to stay 'ere anuvver night

Gypsy, I don’t know that you know how much the old farts miss you. It looks like you’re healing up well and sounds like you’ll be out of there fairly soon. We all need to smoke a joint at the same time when you finally return. /funny story:
this all stems from a bet i once made with a good friend about the author of a book or some esoteric quote. they swore they were right and i knew they were wrong so i said lets bet
a hundy was on the table but i said FOOEY to that, i dont need $100
what i want is 20 cheeseburgers!
everytime we went out after that for the next year guess who ate cheese burgers for free!
