we are thinking of doing that when we get to Port Angeles , a small cow calf operation

we also are looking at miniature Jersey milk cows , maybe get two of them and supply the neighbors with fresh dairy products..

We have farms here where you can buy shares into and get weekly whole raw unpasteurized milk products which you can only get around here if you have your own cow. Also shares in meat where you can buy into portions of beef for the freezer and of course eggs and usually vegetables too in season.

Sweet! He does look a lot like that pup. I have thought he has a lot of hound in him. He is a sniffer and very focused on prey animals(though fortunately doesn’t seem to see cats as prey). He was ‘pointing’ at a bird yesterday so maybe some pointer? He was a stray in Texas before being shipped up to Massachusetts.
