What's "legit" is debatable (SFV, Tahoe, Larry ?, Fire OG, King Louis, Triangle Kush)..For me its the look and taste that tell the whole story.

Ive looked around at a bunch of vids and grow journals and found that there are an unbelievable amount of strains with og in the name. Im def not qualified to say which ones are legit.
This plant grew from a fem, royal queen bean labeled og kush. It was a freebie. I was suspicious of its identity because early on i could see it wasnt going to be an 8-9week strain. But when i checked out flowering periods for plants that people called og i found some 11+ week flower times.
I think tmwr is day 56 and it still looks to need a month. That would put it at 12weeks!

Thanks man, a friend of mine chilled with josh in Cali and traded his catfish for the real deal sfv from the man himself. I've had my cut longer but I've put it side by side and it's identical, terps and all. Lemon pinesol gas all day

I don't have much to add.
My True OG cut is the same one Breal used and placed 2nd in a cannabis cup with. I would say it is a 68-72 day plant, I usually like to take her above 70. Grows lanky and spindly. Edit: I have taken her down at 65 days before with good results before, still the same face punching rubber smell.
It is the only OG cut in our garden. It is more legit and funkier than SFV, HA OG, or any OG I can think of. The smell is like a fresh can of tennis balls, the fresh rubber funk that underlies the can mixed in with a hint of paint varnish and gas. Don't think I've ever smelled a lemon scent off her.

I was curing many jars of different clones that i've hit with chem 91 sk va male pollen.
some have taken 15-20 days to get the smell to come out.
so far... the skywalker og cut has the strongest skunk, rubber inner tube, diesel dunked in lemons smell.
Ive stripped seeds from the nugs.

With california and other states becoming legal the seed industry is where the profit will be.
if u.s. legalizes patent and copyright trademark will become the norm.
as far as any hating another it is counter productive.
some day we will have genetic testing that shows the exact lineage to strains .
until that day its based upon what where when we have received genetics and the validity of that evidence.

Im now pretty sure that this is an authentic RQ OG Kush plant. Whether RQ supplies "authentic" OG Kush genetics I'll leave that determination to the geneticists and esteemed canna-geniuses at IC. I chopped this lady yesterday, Massive buds, fine fragrance and a pleasure to grow,
