im new at this but,im in 6inch cu off 2liter bottle, all perlite.wen i transplant peat pellet,i flood it,wen it weighed 3/4 of that i wter 2ounces,wen roots hit bottom,i flood from then on.after that wen i got to water this time,i have to run it drier then before, from then out,my pot wants to feel really light wen it wants water.the moisture meter is only good down to its driest reading, pots still not dry enough, cuz the pots not light enough, thats the key for me.plant was purpling from top down, before i figured it out, geting watered too soon.by keepng my data,i was able to ,me fi ,me self.btw across from parents major bust,raid,growers..0 arest,florida..hey u know they gotta away, andthere still runing today!....peace moon/santa gandum style...merry x-mas ummm bannana cimmion muffins/

+1 on that comment. Ive been telling my p for weeks now to 'feel' the pots and let them tell u when to water. All the last ones we cut, i pulled out the stalks and the entire bottom was root less. roots were sparse. Hes not allowing the 2ls to dry up enough and thus allowing the roots to search for water. Im no Bio major but i took hort in High school and taking turf classes now, and i know YOU GOTTA LET HEMPYS DRY OUT> hempy clearly stated at the beginning dont get to where they are wilting. but feel your plants people and they'll make u feel good!

Yeah man, there is a huge difference in the plants growth when you allow them to dry out a piece....I use 2g to 5g containers with intervals of 2 to 3 days between watering...makes a great big difference.

I'm not sure why people would wanna grow in them 2ltr bottles. Just 3 or 4 plants in 1 or 2gal hempy buckets is great for small spaces and a pound is quite achievable in an enclosed 4x4 space

You just gotta know how to utilise your grow space and manipulate it's environment. Oh, and great genetics is a massive plus

Have to disagree with that. I am getting much bigger yields watering daily in 2 gallon pots than I got watering/feeding every 3 days in 5 gallon pots. The daily watering/feeding gives the plants hydro roots, and the growth rate is much more explosive due to fresh solution (oxygen) to the roots. This is in coco, with chunky perlite rez. The daily watering is much like using a drip system. The plants love fresh solution/oxygen. Easy enough to check. On your next run, try the daily watering/feeding on some pots, and see the difference.
At least that's how it has worked for me after many hempy runs.

hempy bucket and holder saucer.

hempy bucket and holder saucer.

9lt=2.3 gal. perlite and coco hempy grow.:) bucket as you can see fits nice inside, when ya gota move the bastard ya just grab the hole lot up top and move it or drain if any . iran hardly any, but bottom box holds a fair amount of runnoff, being square it fits in any space better, think i had 20 = 23 in 4x3 or bit bigger, another 4 sitting on plank on hinges in walkway, lift up of night time before lights out and walk out setting 4 onto plant, cant wast space yu know, i ran a raised platform, hence the plank on hinges. igot more photos still have'nt worked out how to put more than i photo in . hope this helps somebody in the hempy bucket brigade out.

Perhaps on the smaller containers, but I most certainly see better growth if I've allowed the plants to dry a bit between watering. But I dont use coco, I use 100% perlite, so maybe there's where we differ.

Correct, no vermiculite anymore....I haven't in over a year and find no difference in growth...The perlite is much easier to clean and reuse without the vermiculite mixed in, in my experience.

That's the ticket!
When you switch to coco, you will see a massive difference. Chunky perlite for the rez.
Hempy did.
