Thanks. My best grow so far, even after having a slow start. I was curious how it'd go given the super basic setup. It's just an unused closet, 2 foot 4 bulb T5 w/cool bulbs. I hung a piece of panda film over the back of the sliding brown door a couple weeks ago. And there's an old window fan running 24/7. You can see it a bit in some of the group pics.

I was going to swap one of the cool T5 bulbs for a warm but decided to see what would happen if I just let it go. I know some folks flower w/MH bulbs all the way through and report some nice benefits so I'm looking at this as sort of my trial run to help me decide if I should switch over my main flower cab. Anyone else flower w/MH? CMH looks interesting, too.

JD, your cab sounds similar to my ghetto setup i have my beer can ladies in. I have 4 x 2ft cool t8s, with 2 x 20w warm cfls. I'm quite impressed with hows things have turned out so fat for suc a basic run

Good looking plants btw

-cheers

I strongly considered adding some warm cfl's but decided not to add any more variables. I'm a believer in a full spectrum.

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to rotate it.

My 13th update (26-08-2012 - End of week 13 - 4 more weeks to go.)

As I said, I forgot to water them for about half a day and they lost some more fan leaves because of that. Except that and the def, they have, things are good. Let's hope for the best.

A2_1 & A2_2 = Aurora Indica x (White Rhino (purple pheno) x Skunk#1 BX1)
B31 & B71= selected White Rhino (purple pheno) x Skunk#1 BX1 crosses

Great looking plants, JohnD!
Thanks for watching felows! & Congrats to all of you still playing! :tiphat:

here's what's left of my challenged entry...

i put her in a new pot. it's the exact same depth as the 18oz ... it's just twice as wide.

she's getting along galang in the new digs... she'll retire here.

Howsoever providential, it is not a beer cup.

in post #379 she's one of my favorites... front left,

the front middle one in that picture has been smoked already. a real quick high straight to the head. smelled like papaya or something tropical.

and the one in front right.. the hazey looking one has had a cutting rooted.

way to go toes! don't let 'em beat ya down...
still a month to get through yet.
John Deere, nice!
explosivegbb, hanging wit ya baby!
Delic, sweet!

thought i might spend the time to go back through the posts and count out the dropouts, but that would be cruel. LOL had to remember that i almost did...so who determines a winner here? is it a poll? just curious, not entertaining any notions i'll be among the winners.

we're in the home stretch now baby!

Hey everyone. Sorry missed last weeks update, just had a crap ton of stuff to do. Well everyone is looking great. Only one week left to go with my two entries. Pretty much stopped doing anything around week 6, no response to nutrients so I have just been letting them go with plain water.

It's a peoples choice for the winner,... Kinda bud of the month thing.

Once your bud is done, submit your best budshots and be judged by your peers.

The weekly posting of pics thing is to keep posters clean..... no showing off a prized side cola from a 15 gallon plant as your "Seed to finish" beer cup plant.

Ya I think he deleted his account so he had to stay away, lol. Otherwise I'm sure he woulda been tempted to much to get back on and waste his time, lol. He's slowed stuff down in the shop so he can take a month break/vacation or so, I'll put my money on it that he's back by end of September hehe

best way to do this for good yields .. is to have atleast 1 or 2 inchs of soil. laid down beneath the cups.. and cut the holes for drainage bigger.. u will double if not triple yields!

Yeah, but that's against the rules! Roots must stay within the cup.

If you let it root down into that much extra soil just use a gallon container instead of messing with the cup.

Another Monday update from me, it's a bank holiday in the uk and Sunday just past me by. There are a few nice looking buds starting to fill this thread. So to my pictures, this week there is a group shot outside the ghetto cab the girls have been flowered in. The close ups are bushy then lanky. They have been on water for the last week or so, and just started yellowing. Gave them some af-alfa/cumfry tea yesterday, it'll be water again now until the finish.

Almost forgot to mention the smell. Lanky has a deep musk, similar to purple kush. Bushy has a milder sweeter funk.

Only a few weeks to go and only a few plants standing. Hope the last of us all make it to the end.

Some nice looking flowers from everyone! Loving the ghetto cabs.

I'm getting some nice smells out of my gals--I love limes so sour bubble is definitely one of my favorites. Left to right, plant 1 is a mix of lemon/lime sour tart. Plant 2 is all lime, all the way, nothing else just straight up lime. Awesome. Plants 3 and 4 both have a lime cleaner smell, with #4 having the most 'cleaner' smell to it. Funky.

I've got clones of 1 and 3 because I liked their structure as they were growing. Wish I took some from 2 and 4, too. Maybe I'll try a reveg with those. Dunno.
