The second photo in your first post is really stunning!

What wattage do you use for flowering?

CC

It's easy for me to say, that plant has the largest flowers I've ever grown - I use 600w hortilux's right now......the entire plant turned into 'flower', from the lowest bud site all the way up. LOL

What kind of bat guano do you use? How much dolomite lime are you adding?

Don't forget to add Epsom salts - that strain could be 'magnesium hungry' so watch out for that problem as well.

How is your Boron hanging?

B

BlueJayWay

that's an easy one - none, none and none.

Soaking up some magnesium right now...my feet are sore, long day in the garden! LOL

Here's one for ya - So I had harvested this Alcapulco Gold @ 11 weeks or somethin:

Then I made a couple holes to accomodate 2x 1gal. plants:

Another Alcapulco gold on the left and BlackLight on the right

Now a few weeks later they're cruisin right along, A gold in front, blacklight in back.....tomato at the left!

We'll see who finishes first! I think Blacklight for sure, the other one takes her sweet time gettin' goin....

B

BlueJayWay

Did you like the Alcapulco Gold? Is that from a seed company or a private collection?

What is behind the Blacklight strain?

A. Gold 'cut only' private collection type deal - person from a person, and that person hasn't been in contact with 'that' person to tell me some details/history on it....I don't have a knowledge base with A. Gold prior to this so couldn't say one way or another.

I can tell you that it is very very pleasant, smile inducing sativa high - I enjoy it - daytime overindulgence is easy for a trippy trip to the grocery store or what have you LOL....I get a citrusy orange scent from her with musk or somethin', i dunno.....the entire plant has trichomes by 10 weeks - stems, fans, everything....

Blacklight, 'cut only' deal - The Black x NL#5 - Kind of impressed so far....vigorous, fast growing, large flowers developing quickly...I'm thinkin' they had a real nice NL#5 dad....

These are fairly new to me, as in growing for 6 months whereas i've been growing cannabis for 10 years - I'm falling in love with the high/experience truer Sativas have to offer...but it doesn't help with my insomnia LOL

In many ways it takes me back to my youth when we'd get the occasional mexi brick that was probably not intended to leave the dealers hands! :D

lol i see my bat guano has made it on to the list of things that coot makes snide comments about!
what an honor, its kind of like the 'Organic soil' equivalent of being featured on an episode of The Simpsons.

yeah its a different animal from your indicas and hybrids for sure. the complete lack of bodystone is unusual these days.
i love them all but most of all i love the variety and being able to choose what i fancy.
in moderate doses those sativas make great party/sociable weed too.

I was under the same impression but I was unaware the Haze is very subdued in the NL5H - Thai Sativa from the Velvet Rush side, she is certainly showing me who's boss in the garden! :D

Thai Sativa

CC

I wonder if the F2 (pictured) exhibits more stability than the F1's of 1991? I see a helluva lot of Thai popping out here.

NLH being Afghani,Mexican,Thai,Indian,Colombian.....and then hitting that with the Highland Blue Thai and the 'stretch Afghani' (as DJ describes) certainly threw those Thai lines up to the front of the mix eh.

Coba - that last one you put up, it was the runt of the litter - I let it veg longer and I guess I didn't expect much so I just plopped the 3gal bag into a 5gal plastic pot and called it a day....11 weeks later it has absolutely devoured the little bit of soil it calls home, it grew past the others with ease and kept going and going LOL and, oddly enough, it's one of the of two i'm actually keeping! Such a different smell, it's refreshing....
