Do plants take up Ca as compounds or as an ion? And as soon as you get some soluble Ca isn't it then going to form compounds based on whatever anions are soluble in the mix anyways?
And again...not arguing but simply trying to understand.
edit...and yes, I buy the paramagnetic energy argument. But technically you can test that with a meter. I also buy the not wasting energy argument...that is most excellent. It is exactly why I like enzymes so much.
