I didnt see any fucked with weed til bout 08 when that drought hit dave, but funny enough i started growing in 02 so never bought off anyone else then til around 08/09

The 1st lot of tampered import was nicknamed 'Speckled-Hen' it barely sold and most was burned in Essex. It was a skunk type that was already beaten to death to make hash for the coffee shops, the resin was replaced with sand or fine grit. Inside the buds was normal.

They soon advance there tampering efforts and started to throw silica balls over the growing plants to incorporate the weight into the buds. (It takes a special kinda Cant to do this sort of devious shit)

All methods designed were to add weight because the operations were getting smaller and smaller at higher costs!

Then as people wised up and more people noticed there weed was tampered, some sprayed with 'BRIX' or sugar solution to make a resin look to the weed, even iron filings were added by gangs to the weed.

You could grind it up on paper, place a magnet underneath it and remove the iron to most peoples disgust.

I suppose this is why the Vietnamese owned the scene for 5-6 years while everyone gained the knowledge of doing homegrown.

This boom of home growers also had a massive input on the seed business as people wanted reliable genetics at affordable prices. Shantibaba seen this trend early on made him some ££££££.

remember everyone....fertilizer is mined from rock salt, i know its called chemical or synthetic but it is processed from rocks, and just lacks a carbon atom so its not "organic"

organics is way overrated, i know since i began my growing outdoors on the appalachian foothills years ago..you cant get any more organic than growing on an ancient mountain slope.
