Very nice ohaze you got there! Were you supplementing calmag while using tap or are you using RO? What EC were you running through veg & flower? On the OH/skunk thread ppl were saying the strain is kind of finicky on high doses of N. The only bad thing I would say about maxi is that you can't really lower the N without lowering everything else. I am switching everything over to Maxi though.

using RO, EC during veg varied from .5 to 1.4, and ranged from 1.2 to 1.6 in flower. i actually use a mix of grow and bloom during the first 2 weeks of flower exactly because this plant is an N hog - if you've got folks running the same beans you are, probably better off going with their experience than mine, tho

So I am giving this a go...Mixed the 1 TEAspoon Maxi with my tap water...Did the whole mix it in hot water prep and what not...1 gallon of the recipe came out to 860 ppm with a ph of 5.8 from 150 ppm with a ~8.1 ph. I think my ph is sitting pretty, what about my ppms? 860 seems a bit low to me.

depends on the strain, 860 is perfect for a lower feeder like OG. Plus I've noticed better results by feeding less rather than blasting with high PPM's and flushing for 2 weeks.

Well, I am very happy with MAXI.
1 little guy in flower looks nice, but my Plants in Veg look great!

My tap water is 220 ish ppm and 7.6 ish ph + maxi + 13 drops of ph up "alot i know"

And i end up with a 900-1000 ppm mix and 6.5 p.
My c99 and Chemdog x MAT are loving the mix!!! Nothing but amazing growth and and very healthy plants. So far SO GOOD!

Veryyyy easy, We will see what happens when i start to add koolbloom later but right now i could not be any more smitten

6.8 would WRECK my hydro grow.

I pH at 5.5-5.8.

and I add MagiCal (cal/mag supplement) as I use R/O water and I'm rockin DripClean too.

Maybe out side in some coco. I am gonna use this to test out side my self. Gonna rock a huge ass white fire out side

cal mag locks out at 6.4 in soil, maxi uses nitrogen that lowers ph rapidly, by feeding at 6.8 after a few weeks you should be around 6.2 -6.5 in the soil. what you feed in isnt what the soil ph is. soil ph is what your looking for . thanks for showing up .

I'm in my hometown building a small 4kw grow and I forgot to bring ferts home from the shop.
I went into a 10k sq' "superstore warehouse and I ask for MB. the guy says "never heard of it" I questioned "really?" He's like "whats so great about maxi-bloom?" I said it's a simple 1 part fert from GH. he's says "the only 1 part GH makes that I know about is floranova". I said to pick up his NGW or hydrofarm catalog or go to the GH website. "it's amazing what you can learn from a little reading". I asked if they had any Dynagrow bloom. "I have KLN and neem oil from them"...
I said thanks! and walked out.
now I'm having my partner mail me some. thank god for trade show samples...

What's 15-0-0?
Imo, the only thing you may need to add is some cal/mag. Thats a pretty low tap ppm reading, mine's usually 330 so I don't add cal/mag.

Hey thanks for lookin out Evil.

Its calcium nitrate I think. I gotta go look at it. Its a powder I used along in my old aero formula and I got a bit of it around. In 2 of my bukkits I got some yellowin of my new growth. One bukkits hit severley. I got 11 bukkits in the room and Im workin on the variables. The 2 could be gettin a bit colder then the rest and later when the lights come on, me and Cindy'l check out a couple other posibilities. One other posibilitie is that the 2 effected bukkits have a metal leaching problem from some hardware in the bukkits. If I find the same hardware in the 2 bukkits we'r gonna change it out tonight. Whewwww.. Good thing we got some 2 extra flowers in one of the other bukkits!

it's obviously a form or 2 of Nitrogen. I suspect you may need calmg. your water probably lacks the essential minerals in water like N, iron, Ca, molybdenum, and other micro/macros if your water's TDS is so low. like when running reverse osmosis filters, we replenish what we strip out of the water with Calmag to add the healthy minerals in water at healthy doses.

Yea its calcium nitrate. I got it rite here and its CaNO3. This is the lowest water I ever drank. I drink it straight from the tap. Back in philly it was 280 -320 and smelt like fish but here its delicious.

Its lookin like an irton def. It seems to have effected the 2 bukkits that are closest tyo my intake vent. I repositioned it and now Im hopin they might recover but Im nogt too shure theyl recover that well if its an iron def. Im gonna find a pic of the offendin bukkit.

I cant seem to post pics rite now but Il get some on here in a minit.
