Experimental theory work in practice... I’m thinking a haze type of plant from seed That is semi hermaphroditic ... that tendency will express itself when the plant is early in the photo Period Flower ... In order to tame the trait I’m finding Out that if you shorten the photo.period for Initializing the flowering ... and then you lengthen the photo period as the plant progresses in maturity ...This is how you can get around that problem when you’re dealing with clones from the original Seed plant ? I will try to prove this theory .... with my SSH

Photo period definitely has something to do with the trigger of latent herm genes from the landraces, last season we ran some malawi cookies that getmo made from malawi we got from there sent to him, proper landrace malawi, the cookies already having herm tendencies. The plants all hermed indoors and i asked mates to toss them out, one mate didnt follow the advice and moved them outside and planted them out in his summer garden. Every seedplant hermed full blown herm as soon as put into flower indoors but outdoors none of their cuts not even had a single banana? Wierd..anyway the natural temperate light cycle didnt trigger it and they finished a month later than the other chunk hybrids which were also amazing, but the pick of the crop was without a doubt the malawi cookies, incredible soaring high and fruity and spicy licorice and incence and dough flavours that lingered and very LOUD.

Anyway not a haze hybrid sorry but related to the discussion on plants with latent herm tendencies, one degree or two removed from a tropical or subtropicls landrace, maybe the shock of artificial light cycles stresses them to express the latent male genes, but in a natural shortening cycle they wont..

G13XHAZE from Barney's Farm, a fem freebie. Seems to lean heavily to the indica side.

I've heard conflicting reports of what this is actually made of, Reeferman claims it's his Nevil's haze x Airborne G13, Barney's puzzlingly says it's G13 x Hawaiian, I've also heard it's a Dutch mutt containing Amnesia, G13, and haze

Oops I made a mistake there's still a few more #DLT coming through the system. But she's almost officially gone. Could be a good reason to dig back into the Bubble Skunk Haze seed stock. They are getting old.

Has anyone tried 2046 or lennon.

I've grown 2046 many times. Never had a bad one, and very popular with the smoking public. Just finished my last 2046 fem and she was pollinated heavily. Some fathers: Tom Hill Haze, Wedding Cake, Ultrashack, Vietnamese (TLT), Jamaican Spirit and Jamaican Thai Haze.

If I live long enough there will be a couple or three in every cycle.

Cheers
