He's making a shit ton of work for everybody to fact check and deconstruct these crazy lectures of his:whip:

A wealth of Mis-information:lurk:

And then he launches attacks because of his hair brained conclusions :bashhead:

Skunk like haze seems to be many different things and have many different versions and all of them claim to be the original
I grew TFD The Pure side by side with two plants of Ancestral Skunk.
One of the Ancestrals was similar to The Pure. Plants like that in my environment are all powdery mildew, get rotten easily and are easy pray for local fauna
But this Ancestral is different. It is longer flowering than The Pure, it grows sativa leaves and makes fluffy airy sativa flowers with smells leaning to sativa in contrast to the little rocks with those soapy perfumes I dislike and local fauna loves
This girl has resistance to local fauna and she flowers when the photoperiod is below 14 hours of light. This one is clearly an outdoor girl
By the time Ohz is sexing, these Skunks are ready. But I really wonder if this is the kind of Skunk you guys are referrring to or if it is the faster flowering indica little rock buds
If anyone is interested to know, I saw at the beginning of flower a little branch with a male egg. I cut it off and since then she is making only pure girl flowers
I personally believe many of the hybrids I grew lately are made with some selection of this kind of skunks
Ancestral Skunk sativa, she is over 2 meters tall

Hey Funky. How many did you have to pop to get one to go?

That s well that sucks but you know the ancestral skunk seeds from Sam are exceptionally dirty

Probably rolla couple numbers with the shake left

chimera put out a cleaning protocol

5% bleach in autoclaved, distilled water with a couple of drops of Tween-20 per liter of solution. I sterilize the water in Duran jars (loose lids) in a pressure cooker @ 20 PSI for 20 minutes, and then allow the jars to cool under my flow hood and tighten the lids when the water has cooled. This is probably overkill for most purposes, but it's a variation of the protocol I use for sterilizing explants for tissue culture, and it seems to work with minimal contamination. You can get away with a drop of dish detergent instead of the Tween, I just have the tween-20 in the lab so I use it. If you are going to be doing a lot, you can order a few ml of Tween-20 on Amazon if you like.

First I rinse the seeds in a tight mesh strainer to remove any leaf debris that might be harboring bacteria or spores. These seeds were a little dirtier than most having been field grown, so you definitely want to wash away any superfluous materials. This can be up to a 5 minute rinse in lukewarm water. Cannabis achenes have a lot of little crevices where spores and bacteria can hide, so a thorough rinse is a wise step.

Then I take the seeds and drop them in maybe 100-200 mls of the bleach/Tween-20 solution in an Erlenmeyer flask, but any clean glass vessel will do -the seeds should be fully immersed, maybe 2x the volume of water as seed. You want to keep stirring and swishing the seeds around gently to ensure the current is washing away any contaminants. After a minute of swishing I remove the bleach and strain the seeds from the liquid and start again. No more than 3 minutes total, and if I see bleaching on the small test batch (always do a test batch to seed how the seeds react), sometimes I'll only do 2 minutes.

The next part is key. Immediately rinse 3-5 times (for 5 minutes per rinse) in the same sterilized distilled water (baby water / distilled water from Walmart or the local pharmacy is fine), again using a tight mesh strainer, or simply rinse the seeds in a different vessel with the same volume of water, at least 3 times to ensure the bleach is removed. I use a labratory orbita shaker, but you can do it by hand it's just a little tedious. Once the rinses are completed, soak the seeds in the distilled water as before, for 2-24 hours depending on the age of the seed and the medium you will be growing in. Sometimes I'll use agar plates, but most often I'll just sprout them in paper towels and transfer to a light dirt (like Light Warrior for you Americans) or surface sow on a .peat based planting substrate. You can use whatever medium you prefer, it's not that big of a deal as long as the seeds remain moist.

Chimeras methods ^^^

"I've been starting everything in vitro for a few years now.
I'll get a little documentary together so you can see how it's done.

Otherwise, the general principle for seed planting is a 24-48 hour soak in highly oxygenated water (think airstones), and direct planting into the medium of your choice @ 25 degrees Celcius."

Respectfully,
-Chimera

This is easy to do.......................:spanky:

from mandalas website : Don’t cover pots with plastic wrap, don’t use a humidity dome to seal off the pots, or place pots/rockwool cubes in a propagator that’s completely covered! This prevents fresh air exchange, raises humidity to excess levels, and easily facilitates the spread of fungus. The seeds then rot before they can germinate. Excess humidity coupled with lack of oxygen is the #1 cause for poor germination results!"

I would love to learn how to do tissue culture cloning and clean up the genetics to restore.
I Think I probably speak for everyone when I say we are looking forward to your instructional video..

:DYeah, if anyone knows where that chimera documentary on in vitro seed germination/tissue culture is post a link

Anyway, love the plants!

Fantastic Vigor ..they are gonna tear up that tent!LOL

When would you guys dial back the N on the Vietblack cross from my above post?
I flipped to 12/12 on March 1st. So that's over 3 weeks ago.
This thing is full of budsites. Even places where I had already removed the tiny sucker branches are regrowing.
I run H3ad's Modified Lucas Formula. I usually start dropping the micro at about the time that buds are a little more than just the cotton ball stage, but that's with my indica hybrids.
Should I start dropping the n (micro) now? Should I have already completely stopped. Im starting to see early signs of leaf tip burn, so I was going to dial back ec anyways. I'm new to these giant sativas that takeover the tent. Lol.
also... I hear alot of guys say that the bigger the pot, the more sativas will stretch. This is in 3 gal. Would you guys go smaller? One plant in 3x3.
here's some upskirt shots from under the canopy. All this growth was already cleaned up and removed.
