Tod offers 30 hybrid strains with ON Haze Male = Original Haze x Nevil Haze aka ON Haze and only offers 3 strains i can see X with just the pure Original Haze , why is that ?
because Original Haze although very nice is not a patch on Nevil Haze.
if Original Haze was that good why did he need to use a Nevil Haze / Original Haze combo ? , and try diss Neville but use his strain in his whole catalouge .
anyone who chats with him ask him this question for us.
As you Original Haze heads im sure would of preferred an Original Haze hybrid line instead of Original Haze/ Nevil Haze ?
Todd says that he prefers the Nevils haze and he likes the addition of northern lights that nevil used in it. He also said that he crossed nevils haze into original haze to make it “more” haze. He never said that original is better. If anything he describes it just like Sam always did. Inbred, lacking the same original vigor. Better as a breeder, bla bla bla

I'm gonna guess potency was a factor. Nev's is much higher in THC. Todd did back cross to Ohaze so to me it sounds like he wanted the perfect compromise between the two. Higher potency of the NH, but with less indica influence.

What I learned earlier in the thread is that there was a lot less indica influence in Neville's haze than the purported 25%. Half of that is in fact supposedly Mexican/Colombian.

That would make Todd's haze hybrid around 95% NLD. I doubt it will express a lot of indica influence but it's likely to be more potent than just straight Ohaze.

Excellent news:woohoo: Hombre! It’s giving me much pleasure to see that these are starting to show up and mostly in good shape ..I just want to make one thing absolutely perfectly clear > the seeds were derived from the plants that came from the seeds that :artist:JC gifted me… he put many years into selection and growing to get to where he got… The seeds that I’m sharing were from three females and five males in an accidental open pollination they were all in the same room and I didn’t take the males out in time I didn’t even discover this until I started to harvest the haze… that being said I’ve already grown out the seeds … and from what I observed it’s a true breeding line because they looked identical to the parent plants and most importantly the effects were the same…There’s enough seeds in each gift to find what you’re looking for…no hay here :)

Sounds great to me star crash ! Hemp and accident seems to work sometimes for the good 😅😋
Take care of yourself with that snowstorm!

Apart from making fresh seed so i dont loos lines i have wanted to breed a Haze type line now for 2 decades.

If a few out door growers that only wanted to make seed for next years grow could strike gold and make haze why cant any of us ?.

Most keep living in the past and that's fine but i dont see to many out there standing on there own work all i see is people re combining genetics others did 30 plus years ago.

I plan on using non dutched genetics to try and create something like Haze i even have a name for it have for 2 decades to.

Finding the right combination was key.
Hempy, God bless you if you do! Original Haze is a cannabis milestone, but we can't fossilize on that. There is a need for more 100% sativa crosses, and actually something has been done: I won't name my stuff, but out of everything the market offers, I would say cbg destroyer is a great polyhybrid sativa (I'm not saying it's a substitute for ohz)

It turns out that NL all NL from 1 to 8 or 9 are all Afghan/Mexican/Colombian so far from what i would call indica.

Going by this NL is more a sativa than it is indica in heritage.

interstellar star, it seems extremely tight for so much hz.:tiphat:
I know right …tight and pretty dense , the doors must dominate & it also dominates in the high as well ..it doesn’t seem have quite the hazy kind of high .. it’s really good but definitely a hybrid the good news is it’s very potent…The original seed plants were 14 feet and still going before I had to harvest them last fall …I think I posted the pictures here ? Be happy to again

:blowbubbles:Todd posted this on IG today

I am working on an article about intersex tendencies in cannabis with the help of:@billdrakecultivatorshandbook & @melfrank420 & Skunkman Sam and Seattle Greg @oldemarine. We will be releasing the draft of the article here on Instagram for your thoughts and comments in the next couple days. We are putting together an entire cultivation encyclopedia online for free within the next few months on the @agseedco website for the community and with the community's help.

Doors by Mr Nice seeds
This is an indica, only the marvels of internet and hype can turn a hashplant into a sativa "haze A" or Haze C
Grown from seed straight 11/13 it showed sex very fast, after 45 days. Same like Ancestral Skunk, they grew side by side. Original Haze grown from seed straight 11/13 takes 90 days to show first pistils. Short plants., just a tiny little taller than Ancestral Skunk
Very interesting hashplant, very little mold or powdery mildew, theey all came out with 3 days difference and they all looked almost same same, smell same and taste same. I am not interested in a hashplant with "sativa" taste. I bought a sativa and they sold another indica, it is the last time I try Mr Nice strains, it is very interesting and good breeding for sure. But it is not my cup of coffee

Doors girl 2 full plant, about 1 meter tall, all plants look the same. Is this what you call a sativa Haze A x Haze C???

Girl 2 only a little mold, not bad at all for my environment, very impressed with this indica, it is very similar to Cultivators Choice Haze 5 x Skunk/Hz in structure and smells. I hope the high is a little better than Haze 5.

Doors girl 3, in the second picture you can appreciate a very little PM, not bad at all. None of my sativas make PM in my environment, indicas suffer badly here. Not bad at all for an indica.
