That is a spectacular plant, Harvestreaper, congrats on a beautiful haze specimen! It's good to know there's plants like that to be found amongst the OH seeds that Todd sells. There's a good thread on another forum on the topic of fenotrigo, which is a name for that bud structure. Fenotrigo bud structure is very high on my list of selection criteria, if not at the outright top. I found an 18-week haze plant in some MNS Angel's Breathe F2s I had made, and it's the best plant I've found so far. Trippy 4-hour high, church aroma that lingered in the air, and a dry toke on a freshly rolled joint tasted exactly like a lemon drop. I still have clones after three years, which is remarkable for me, but I've never been able to grow it as well. It had the fenotrigo bud structure, AND it yielded massively in one huge gallon-jug-sized cola...143 grams of dried bud out of a 4-gal hempy bucket with six other plants in a 4x4 under 600W of COBs.



I have taken ojd up on his generous offer to run some of his outback haze x NH21/MML crosses, and I understand the outback haze throws fenotrigo phenos pretty often, so those babies will hit water immediately upon arrival.

Hmmm coffee and a very nice Haze bud.

I managed to get one old 97 nevils haze to strike that looks even worse than that. Its very very similarly to the well pictured one leet had.....only mine is nore sativa....im kinda doubting if its ever going to actually going to grow anything that can be considered buds.....its just tiny caylaxes smaller than those in sams picture and just lose airy colas made up of just pistols so far. Im kind of wondering now if it is a phenotype that wont finish...well not how im hopeing....lol I think I may be smoking joints just made up of pistols with tiny scraggly vegetative mater holding them together....it was actually the strongest smelling plant I had in veg...but in flower the scent tapered out...almost just smelled like fresh lawn clippings for ages in flower..just about putting some resin out and the scent is changing to a mango diesil type scent....unfortunately im not picking up any frankincense in it......anyway we'l see how it turns out....il try and get some snaps sent over to me later.

Thai stick was compressed like every other imported Thai weed. Loose Thai sticks came from dealers breaking up the bars as they were pressed with the sticks neatly packed and pressed side by side for shipping.

I have had a few Nevil's Haze look like that and even a Mango Haze throw flowers like that.

Mine looks like this at like week 14....mines abit more scraggly....same leaf shape aswell....(nevils a5 2a put out similar leaves....some of leets finished bud of this plant reminds me of nevils 5a (2a) flower)...only im now thinking it might stay like this and not fill out like leets did..if you look closely at the bud structure on leets one at this point on his you'll see there is no real buds its just pistols an mines like that late in....i hope it fills out abit...some pistols (about 5-10%) have turned orange on mine..if it dont fill out il have to try it again hydro an see how that works..

The intensity of the light can also cause this look in flowers here is a good example notice the plants flowers on the outer are full but the flowers closer to the light are not.

I've had a few plants do this, most recently an ACE Ethiopian and a Barneys Dr Grinspoon. Both grown under a 415 Watt LED.
It is an interesting look, but it does not necessarily equate with quality. The plants I grew that turned out like this were of similar quality to others that didn't grow this way.

Leets turned out very nice i had a few Nevil's haze that looked like that to i call that a viney Thai look but the ones like i posted pics of did not really fill out much more than what you see in the pic.

The intensity of the light can also cause this look in flowers here is a good example notice the plants flowers on the outer are full but the flowers closer to the light are not.

Great pictures hempy.....those were the classic signs of the old haze lines nevil made...too hot and you get that...too much nitrogen and you get that....to much direct light and you got that.....all sorts of issues indoors could completely mess the whole plant up and make it come out as all mad stretched out semi reveging type buds....it used to be abit of a chore getting most plants right....something you dont really see in most haze based lines now....most seem to be alot easier to grow now......thanks for putting the pictures up....this should be something people see....and know what kind of hurdles we used to have to jump through to grow certain weed

Nev.hz 04 tastes like resin, pine, a little lemon, with light bit of stick incense(not church incense).very psychedelic,slightly paranoia... Nev. Haze 17 tastes more like citrus, bitter mandarin, diesel, is trippy but with a more "confused" effect, dominant Nl5hz ...
A good smoke either way ...

I had a couple phenos that looked just like that in the love potion haze from cultivators choice. So small calyxes. They were a columbian body like stone for me(made oil out of it. And there sure wasn’t much sigh) put me to sleep real well. I took the whole plant in one sitting lol. Only made 2 grams of oil on first wash lol. Slept better than I had in a long time.
the more racy stuff noids me out if I take that much oil from the high flying stuff. Followed by sleep. I culled them too. I didn’t like growing something for 6 months only to get two uses out if it lol. I take oil every day in the evening. Anyway it yeilded shite so bad I couldn’t justify it.
i just don’t smoke a lot these days due to tolerance to oral oil daily and the fact that I am a runner and run 6 miles a day at the least. Today I ran 6 miles in 1 mile increments on the treadmill and I got all 6 under 7 minutes. I do a 1 minute break between each mile. Anyway I don’t like much in my lungs besides air these days.
