The growing large plants, outdoors, thread...

Beautiful work, all. Starting to get fun!!

I've got big plants but unfortunatly small pictures. There's a 'nomaad' clueberry in front (7' pot), and a couple of his blue dreams behind. Those BD's are basically running circles around everything else. KEEPER.

Local hero, 'hedging' will hurt per-plant yield, think about it. I think it would be fun to purpously create and shape a hedge garden to be a 'Cannamaze' in the fall.

LH: Giant spheres give you the most possible surface area... and hence, the most possible yield. I do not believe the hedging at HL's was intentional. Not that yields over there will not be sick.

Fisher: Looking good. 7' pots... what is the spacing on those? What differences are you noting between the Clueberry and the Blue Dream? This stage of development usually has them at their most similar.

Its been fun to see all my BD cuts in all your gardens. I feel honored. Thanks for keeping me updated on their progress.

HL's tunnels would make the perfect starting structure for CannaMaze 2011.

Great looking plants everybody, I have a question for you guys though. What is everybody doing for caterpillars in the fall?

A buddy told me to build a frame around my plants and drape mosquito netting over the whole lot, stopping the moths & butterflies before they can get to my girls. In the past Ive always just suffered with them eating about 1/4 to 1/3 of the overall crop.

Anyone have any suggestions with over saturation. My plants are barely growing, not extremely but still droopy especially in heat of day. Def. over watering. tried drying out for 8-9 then lightly hitting with maxsea and hygrozyme. reapplied hygrozyme/max sea 3 days later. (2 gal of water per pot)

STILL DROOPY at bottoms! got some rhino something at the hydrostore...

HELP HELP HELP.. lol this is bad.

LayedBack - Buy yourself some MycoStop and get busy with it.. You will be back to perk mode...Rhino Skin (1% Potassium Silicate 99% water per gallon!!) and Hygrozyme are all fancy labeled bottles of water.

Root Shield and / or MycoStop will get your plant's generators firing..Right now the glow plugs are a little dirty.

Hey Nomaad

Hey Nomaad

You guys are doing way better up there then us down in the valley. I dont know what it is. Several people around here are reporting weather related slow growth. What are Your night low temperatures (ballpark). Ive seen some 50s. Would that cause a problem?

I tried azatrol and bt in combo last year and seemed to cut them back by about half, but there was still damage (about 10%). Any input? With all of the monster plants around here, it would be a shame to have the damn weedipillars do serious damage. God I hate those little fuckers,,,,
