This Weather sucks. I have more plants going into bud. I do have back ups in veg. My son ran out an covered my Black boxers when the storm hit. It was dumping buckets.
I disagree with the chemist on this point (100f) and worry about root damage providing an infection court for things like fusarium.
PurPur: are you going to ripping the budding ones out or let them go threw?
I had plants that wanted to do it, but purchased a big work light 1200 watt for outdoors and blast that on them. Hope they get threw it.
SHOWERS STOP TODAY? could it be, lets all hope for.
now everyone knock on wood.
100f is pretty warm IMO, I just helped a friend do some transplanting from 6 inch squares to 5 gallon pots of plants he has had in pretty high temps 90's+.
The main roots wrapped around the dirt square were brownish and the inside of the container kind of smelled like an old dirty cloning machine. They were also beyond rootbound (like a month overdue) so I'm sure that had alot to do with it also. Maybe if they had been in bigger containers the higher temps wouldn't of effected them as much.
you mean ambient temperature or soil temp as a result of reactions taking place (i dont know if youd call that chemical reaction or what)?
What are You Guys doing? Are You all ready to roll? This is it. Were all gonna kick ass from here on out. Lock and Load. My gut just told me we are past it. The worst of it. Its gonna be a different Year. Im ready to spread Straw! Lets Do this! Time to OverGrow!
