This Weather sucks. I have more plants going into bud. I do have back ups in veg. My son ran out an covered my Black boxers when the storm hit. It was dumping buckets.

PurPur: are you going to ripping the budding ones out or let them go threw?
I had plants that wanted to do it, but purchased a big work light 1200 watt for outdoors and blast that on them. Hope they get threw it.

I disagree with the chemist on this point (100f) and worry about root damage providing an infection court for things like fusarium.

100f is pretty warm IMO, I just helped a friend do some transplanting from 6 inch squares to 5 gallon pots of plants he has had in pretty high temps 90's+.

The main roots wrapped around the dirt square were brownish and the inside of the container kind of smelled like an old dirty cloning machine. They were also beyond rootbound (like a month overdue) so I'm sure that had alot to do with it also. Maybe if they had been in bigger containers the higher temps wouldn't of effected them as much.

I move them either to a black out tent outdoors or to a bud tent indoors. I dont rip out anything. I have a couple I may wait and see. I dont light this place up at night. I probably could to some degree, but Im having fun. Im rolling with it. Its going to be a perpetual harvest year

you mean ambient temperature or soil temp as a result of reactions taking place (i dont know if youd call that chemical reaction or what)?

Its either chemical or Biological. I grow in 110 ambient (at times) but never over 90 in the soil.

I buy the 16oz red bulls by the case...

It gives you wings.

i don't need stimulants. I own a coffee farm but I barely drink a cup a month of my own roasts. I had a coke 6 hours ago and I am unlikely to sleep till 4 because of it. A redbull would crack me out something fierce. I use caffeine when I am on the road, though...
