Another reason I prefer sprayers. Easier soaking my top dressings and have definitely cut down my water usage.

true, i do think however if you use sprayers you really need to check them often to make sure the sprayers are not moved/adjusted/pinched ect. I have seen some lazy growers who dont check them only to find it was spraying up into the plant for weeks, causing a few headaches later

I'm in an unfriendly state so I can't grow them big and in the open like you lucky bastards in California and Colorado...

But I do what I can...I use the 6 foot electricians stepladder to check for bugs and prune off the dead leaves...

Almost time to go buy some new trimming scissors..

Mortar mixer, Organic Vapor respirator and a long sleeved shirt with gloves for mixing amendments...

Alternatively a food grade barrel with a locking lid. Fill with each amendment per your recipe. lock lid on and lay it on its side and roll it around with two people. You can mix a few hundred lbs fairly easily and without breathing any dust... ;)

cough, cough,,.....ahem......yeah, you wouldn't want to have plants that touched the sky now would you? 8-10 feet is OK by me.

Is that just clouds or smoke too? I've been reading horror stories of houses and farms burning up in your area, positive vibes to those affected. Crushin again shcrews

damn those look pretty swollen already.. i only have a few strains in the garden looking that chunky, everything else looks way behind, dreading a mid to late october finish but thats looking like what its gonna be. my glues are no where near swelling up yet, just finished bud set but still look real premature like week 2-3 at the latest.

The Glues get so dense near finish. Hopefully the cold and the rain hold off abit for you. I hate pushing anything past Oct 7th.
Looks like end of Oct for your girls. Good luck and be blessed.
I had to harvest my Glues at week 8 last year, on Oct 4th, due to botrytis setting in on a bud here and there.

thanks man, you as well. i'm really liking the simplicity of the coots mix and water-only regimen this year. And that's just clouds, we had some rain yesterday. fires have been really bad this year in the foothills but none that threatened the property where i'm at

We got some light rain near the coast right now. Heard snow is expected in North California above 7k elevation today/tonight.

Weird weather...and its supposed to warm back up to the 90s this weekend!

Yes. They could've gone 1 or 2 more weeks which would have brought them to Oct 11th - Oct 18th.
I chopped em on Oct 4th. It was very rainy and cold.
This year has been perfect! Too bad I couldnt do anything this year.
