Those kids are from Willow creek area , or at least were.

The Royal cut is still around on the coast I think ... It's a pretty great plant. Just more proof that purple makes great hybrids

sounds like it might be emerald mountain? 30years said that they also made royal kush, which was their main seed release, also mentioned them not being in business anymore which seems to be the case. they had alot of cool stuff like Pure OG x royal, royal sours, and then this "truth" strain which i was never able to grow. I've been trying for so long to find these seeds in stock somewhere, they were featured on some website called "california breeders association" if that rings a bell for anyone up in the triangle.

i grew out a Pure Royal last season and am smacking myself in the head for not keeping a clone. it reeked like gas and lemon, reminded me of my old SFV done indoors, except with big chunky dense buds like a bubba kush. Lineage was Pure Kush x Royal Kush (Purple Kush x Sour D x Afghan).

heres a link and you're right caligabe it was the maui x amherst super skunk cross, does ANYONE up in the triangle know these guys or know where to score some packs? emailed the website and got no response….

My old partner is running the Royal Truth outdoors this year, i remember you asking about the seeds a few months ago, i will try to find out where he got em. A friend ran them before and said they were all 7+lbs

also We are light-depping a Royal Kush s1 right now outside and it is stacking like crazy. We will save cuts of her because of the outdoor potential. I'm not sure why more people aren't growing Royal Kush outdoors, it yield big, finishes early and always come out top-shelf.

purple kush is awesome breeding stock. not sure how the Humboldt PK stacks up against the LVPK, but I've seen multiple crosses of both produce excellent offspring.

yea track that down schrews! need to get some more royal kush beans somehow…

until then I've been breeding with an ICmag project called POW which is LVPK x Sour D and its got some good things going as well, early finisher outdoors just a little on the slow side in terms of veg…gonna be knocking her up with multiple dads to see if i can get that vigor up..

.

I'm on year 3 with boxes just like that, no signs of rot at all, easy to amend / till with a gas auger. We built a lot of pallet / hardware clothe boxes this year also. Wood is more my aesthetic.

What is the size of those boxes? They look great. Bottomless with gopher netting or just sitting on the top of the native soil?

thanks man, This is my first year with these boxes/beds and they are 6 ft by 24" deep. I got the idea from Tom early in this thread.
I have a layer of wire mesh on the bottom for gophers and then native soil under that. Last year I had taproots going through my 65 gal smarties and going into the ground. I figure the boxes might rot after 5 years or so but i will upgrade by then Im sure lol Each box is 500 gallons of soil

I've seen a lot of people knocking it before they try it and that is shear ignorance. If you agree withe bottle diet or not at least don't be the guy who shows his idiocy and shoot it down call it snake oil and expensive when you have no clue. Ca25 to my door 145 bucks for 4lbs, Albion ca same delivery 95 bucks 5lbs. AEA 7 various gallons 270 bucks to the door, GO thrive Bloom 65 a gallon plus fuel to drive 45 miles to get it. All I'm saying is if you want to talk shit, prove it then say what you want....i wouldn't want to be that guy
Hey newbie where's the pics of that garden you got goin? Sun is down so maybe tomorrow? Next time stay away from all that compost. I'll catch up with you late next week. Your shit had better grown a foot before I get back home.

Oh and you got that rockin foliar program going because why?

Some farmers enjoy spending $$ on all sorts of bottled shit and others dont. Other farmers like to keep it simple/cheap as possible and understand that its possible to grow great cannabis with fungal/bacteria active soil and listening to the plant instead of throwing the kitchen sink at it. Plants know what to do and need minimal help from us..
