Come on guys enough of the bickering, people need to stop letting BYF get under their skin at the end of the day he's just sharing his results, and hes in other peoples threads giving solid advice instead of just bashing them. Im always all ears on hearing how i can improve my grows and hearing about all the available products. If ferti nitro does the same thing as PPD and alpha fish without the bad smell, well shit thats info i want to know!

I'd say the reason you see Sea-Crop made by others is that there is no patent on it yet. Not sure it's truly unique anyway as there are similar products by other companies. 12% salt in seacrop seems excessive, but it's something I haven't tried and others have good results with. Honestly not knocking Seacrop, but trace elements are trace elements unless they are chelated, and where they come from doesn't matter as long as they are present.

Sea crop has the least amount of nacl of any of the commercial sea waters.

If you are near an ocean and so inclined you can make your own. The process is called omris or somethung like that...hopefully close enough spelling google can find it for you.

Think of the fog that comes off the ocean...natures foliar.

It gets relabeled because of the guy that came up with it. That is his marketing strategy. Put whatever label on it. Get it from the source if you are worried...caligabe mentioned the name

Yesprop...ferti nitro not only has aminos like ppd it also contains peptides. Those are one step closer to protein...nitrate to amino to peptide to protein. If you actually manage to get the plant to take up peptides you save it the energy of making that conversion itself...and your girl does not wonder why you smell like dead hooker pussy

Edit...not knocking ppd it is fantastic. But time marches on and other options become available

^ nice good to know that info….ahah yea i dont even want to spray PPD anymore i make one of the workers do that. whenever the wind direction changes and it sprays all over you, man that sucks. smells sooooo rank….might just save the rest for root drenches.

i was also wondering when people are going to start switching up their foliar and feeding regimes in the next month. i was thinking about still using N dominant feeds until at least mid july and then start switching to bloom food in late july to early august. my hillside gets less light than most so i have a feeling the flip might start early..

i find the thread, the information, and the pics (my goodness the pics! pics pics pics) to be awfully informative. The bantering and debate - thats quality entertainment, built right in. keeps me coming back hahaha

there is beauty in the dissonance

This thread has gone to shit. There are only a handful of people posting, and that is because of all the hostility flying around in here. I liked it better when GoldCourntyGuy was around telling us about PPD, Cal25 and not pushing the products. Where is GCG anyway, we need him back guiding the LargePlantThread. Also, where is Tom Hill? If I remember correctly he isn't around anymore because of some internet beef also. WTF guys, stop pretending your 6'5" tall, 2% body fat and an undefeated street figher. We are all pussy little pot growers, no need to be tuff here.

I hope people put their penis away and let others come and share how they produce large plants. This isn't about how one person grows large plants, and one person doesn't know everything. This thread was a huge leap forward for growing large outdoor plants, and we need to keep the momentum going. I feel the best way to do this is to pull from as many peoples experiences as possible, while having a "leader" or "exprienced" group of growers dispelling as many canna grow myths as possible.

Hope everybody has a great day, positive thoughts.

TYVM, im still around my friend.

i never spoke of cal25, i dont think, i spoke of calBO from albion that trinity gold linked me. Good stuff, still have some. Not using it now though.

PPD was linked to me by fillthepotmore......i think its a nice product. I dont use it anymore....though...fish bone meal and oly mtn fish compost in the soil r this years fish inputs.

we dont use any bottled things.....fpe,sst,ctea,healthy compost, peat, lavarock, crab, kelp, neem, karanja.....rockdusts.....some other stuff.

byf, the gcg, well, yah, comments is pretty weak......i didn't claim ne thing......ive helped as many as u ,and although sometimes drunk, at least not usually a egotistical jerk.....

have a beer and tasty joint for me folks, i just hit 30 today and am feeling young.

ne one wants to talk to me should probably do it in PM once i hit 50 posts, or ill just get banned and it will ruin the threads quality.....cheers.

Common knowledge in CO that all Cali growers are assholes

aww :(

here's a simple recipe for anyone interested, give it a try and I'm sure you'll be happy with the results.

1 cup of alfalfa meal (pellets) with 1/4 cup kelp meal - bubble for 24 hours or so. This is the strength for watering the soil and dilute that 1:1 with water for a foliar spray.

I have done a couple of those this year, two aerated compost teas, and quite a few sprouted seed teas using seed of alfalfa, barley, corn and mung beans so far.

here are some pictures for you folks, hope no one minds me throwing them up in here. I'm too busy for a thread here this year.

pretty happy with the state of the full seasons, extremely happy with the drip setup I installed. thanks for the info over the years on setting that up BYF, a friend came over and liked how I'd set this up so much that he asked me to set up at some of his gardens.

I'm wondering whether or not you have any side-by-side information on the use of the 'bells and whistles' to actually make any determinations here on their effectiveness.

here's to a good rest of the year
happy bday GCG

McGruff.

You just sound really mad that I was part of the Biological advantage trial...

Please , share some pics of your garden...

The way you post though, you sound like some ones angry worker...will your boss let you share?

Please, come say hi at the Emerald cup

Here is a photo of one of my patches.

:tiphat:

Boobs you snuck in on me. Congrats on drip line. It's much better to not stand at the end of the hose, the time you spend with your plants can be used to actually tend to them, instead of just caddy a hose around.

I am beginning to compile sap analysis data from accredited university laboratory ...currently the information I have is based off of a randomized block control experiment and my experience growing the same strains in the same garden with out the bells and whistles...

I do not have quantifiable results at this time.

I did a root drench today...in a 400 gal tank I mixed,

2500 grams PPD
1 Qt PhotoMag
2 Qt sea stim
2 Qt pht phosphorus
3 Qt rejuvenate
12oz pepzyme c
50g biogenesis
50g spectrum
8oz yucca ag aide 50
8oz QL Agri 35

Same trip as last time, honda 1.5 gas pump and fire hose, hit the soil and spray the plants too...

yes that is for 5 gallons of water, use in veg.

thanks for the compliment on the nugs, goes to show that you don't need Calcium sprays, pure protein, seacrop or any of this stuff. Get high quality compost and learn to water correctly. once you can grow plants with the bare minimum you might enjoy toying around with some of these products for experiments. anyone who is using any of these products without doing side by sides comparing the results of not using them with a control plant is not very intelligent.
