I'm not promoting its use in flower, just to be clear.....just wanted to point out that Avid isn't systemic, it's trans cellular. It solely passes thru cell walls. So yes, spraying the top of the leaf affects the bottom of the leaf, but not the leaf next to it.

Damn sorry to hear about the mite problem just dealing With the ol spider mites over here.

Yes4prop- if the girls are looking healthy as can be With the tea then maybe it's not the food source. Of course every teas different but my girls just wouldn't stop stretching and that's all I used was tea. I just find it hard that if they look healthy and the good color green that it would be the food holding them back. How often do you feed the teas? And do you fogliar tea?
Had a bit yellowing going on before the stretch and I hit them hard fogliaring with neem seed meal tea and that greened everything right up! Dark green! an experiment gone good u could say.

HinduSkunk I do believe will be finished before October and I think the candy kush will be too along With the purple wreck which was the fastest girl last year.

Oh and Doob Tubes work great for storing pollen or seeds for that matter!

I know the ic is separate but I'm betting the seedbay/bou is connected in his charges, and that kinda worries me as a customer.

Warm wishes to all of your girls.

So noticed about half my plants are starting to drop their first yellow leaves. Not too much, but you can tell they are starting to run short on N. Anybody else having this as well, or have I started to slightly yellow early this year?

only on the mr nice, which should be done in 3 weeks...seems like fine timing imo on stuff thats gonna be dead soon anyway, always prefered a nice fall color to straight dark green harvests lol

...id be a little mindful of it though if it was late season stuff

I will play...what is earth stapled and how do you do it? Also, how much horizontal space do you reckon a 5 lb plant would take up that way?

I make these long steel crook ended stakes and pull the plants down. You have to pull the plants down real slow, over time

For small plants like that, 3mm steel. For plants that grow large, it has to be 5mm( Minimum) High carbon steel stakes. Long ones.
You just inch them down.

Your giant plant in 300 gallons of medium may cover 8'-10' in diameter or more. Takes alot of stakes, but you have more tops this way,and each one gets more sun

nice idea purpur...

I started cutting the remesh cages in half and laying them down, using it as sort of a outdoor scrog...just have to train it just like a scrog...its nice to have the surface of the soil shaded as it helps prevent evaporation imo...just have to be a bit more aware of water intake/uptake (as always lol)

i have not seen any outdoor scrogs while on and off the forums, but it would be a good test to have a comparison with one that was not screened and see what sort of yield comparison you would get. might have to get the right strain dialed in for that as well. sounds like a bit more work but could have a nice payoff for the extra you put in.

I hold them down under 6 foot. Spread them out, and hort them in.

How many plants can you actually manage that way? Could you handle 50 by yourself providing you had irrigation so you did not spend all day watering.

Plus how many branches am I going to break learning this technique...or more properly, how many did you break (I am probably not as bright, so it may take me a while longer).

I broke one quarter lb branch this year. It takes a lot of rods to pull down large plants
