Seriously though who the hell can run an op with 25 plants, it costs a lot to live and work way out off grid. Kinda lame that they expect someone with large acreage to conform to the same rules as backyard growers just because they got shut down by the feds with their zip tie program. Does anyone know anybody whos actually bought the zipties? Someone else I know was also busted earlier this year, he told me they are trying to fine him 50 dollars for each plant he was over 25, its all about money and politics. I wont cluster this thread up anymore I just thought a few of you would like to know what happened. See yall around the way.

Your greedy for running more than 25 plants, stay in the county ordinance and you'll been fine.

Sub I don't think he meant it personally. More in the "keep it where it should be" sense. Over 25 isn't greedy per se, but if it's above your legal limit you're better off keeping it where it should be.

I don't know anybody in mendo running less than 50 and arn't what I'd call greedy. I know there are a lot of 25ers out there but that is mostly backyard boogie. There has to be another reason. If you're way out only limit is your own work ethic. Can't complain about 50 bucks a plant and no felony is hardly a deterrent.
a handful of guys in my area are having issues with early flower and overall just lack of stretch...i saw 2 friends gardens in july, and since then have only grown a foot or two in the last month.. looks like they went into flower then reverted in late july is my only guess....on top of that my low elevation garden is starting to flower but the stretch just aint there! the plants are all super lush and green, and bushing out but just not seeing that huge july-august stretch for the sky, they have plenty of nitrogen, compost teas, and PPD and other various foliars, zero signs of root disease, insect damage or deficiencies for that matter, very healthy plants but no vertical growth, we are just stumped on what to do......i drive past a bunch of neighbors gardens too and i am noticing only 4-5 feet tall on average, havent seen a single 10+ footer in my area with the exception of Fisher, who is up at higher elevation and my high elevation garden is all 7-8 footers right now... it feels like someone snuck into my grow with a bottle of Bushmaster or something, some plants literally look like they were dosed with placo, nodes stacking ontop of nodes and literally no stretch. of course the only strain putting on decent size at low elevation is blue dream.

Move to another county or get more parcels, I guess. I dont think anywhere else has the weather you get in Mendo, Id buy more parcels.

One thing I do know is that it seems like more and more people are growing BIG and healthy outdoor plants.
Props to all the BIG plant people growing large marge on em this year. This thread should be a motivational grow package, made into a book/dvd.. It would be a cannabis best seller in no time, legendary for sure.
