Oregon seems to be a Tundra this spring/summer. All Indica based plants seem to weather the temps well, but my Sativa crosses just don't like the wind/cold nights this early in the season. Low 30's here at night for the last few weeks. Here is Central Oregon near Bend.

It's been chilly low 60s at night here when we're usually at 85 at night by now. The days have been perfect for the plants though, just wish we had a little more sunshine. Seems like cool weather from coast to coast and over into Europe at least this year.

can't you just grind up in a coffee maker some SRP? That is what I do, works for me and sprays in sprayer just fine.

Edit: never mind, this product is micronized and measures at 10 microns. I would imagine that is quite a bit finer than my coffee grinder gets the SRP, which makes it more available quicker. Thanks for the link!

Double Edit: 2lbs for 10 bucks plus tax, no cost on shipping. Ordered mine already. Thanks again for the link.

Happy solstice! You guys using yucca extract, is that ThermX the go to, or are there cheaper and/or better options?

Happy solstice, the downward slide is on!

I've been trying to get some pricing info on Desert Kings, DK Sarsaponin Liquid 50. They are based out of San Diego, CA. I've got a suspicion they are the manufacture that most folk relabel and rebottle. Either way I would hope they are more cost effective being big ag focused over hydro stores...

I've been using a product called Bio-Wash 100 for both spraying and drenching into new soil.

rain, wind, and lightning warning for sunday, monday, and tuesday... I'm mildly concerned for my plants safety. Last rain until September, I bet. Happy Solstice!

Same here just a little N of ya.
Stalks are fattening up & rootmass looks about on schedule tho.
New foiliage is just starting to kick in & they're about to go boom! ;)

All starts were 5'+ this year. Ya gotta with the short season around here... only 120 safe days start to finish.

Good luck all! :tiphat:

On the yucca...I use horse chestnut instead, 6 x the saponin content. You can get it from Liberty Naturals or some local hippy store.

Milky, thanks for the reminder on horse chestnuts. The price I'm seeing on it per pound seem like it would negate the content benefit over yucca. I'll do the math in a bit on the cost/gallon on that since I have to buy some anyway.
